now i may only be a couple years into a general study of music but it seems theres a lack of dynamic here. the violin should be a bit more pronounced and the melody should be a bit softer, not the other way around. now im not saying i dont like it, just a little off. frankly the piano should have a bit more echo too, as well as being a bit more pronounced

About all this stupid "it says string so it has to be all string!" its called the string quartet meaning 4 members all playing strings. It doesn't try to show off the fact they all play strings. I think speaks volumes to how well this song was written that it sounds so good played by a string quartet. Queen are like the modern day Bach or Beethoven, just virtuoso stuff. Especially the Rhapsody part, sounds ridiculously good.

sorry bro, but pianos are officially accepted as string instruments. if you were to use a mallet on a guitar, it wouldn't become a percussion instrument. Just because you can't see the strings doesn't mean it isn't a string instrument. Ask any music teacher, a string quartet can just as easily refer to a piano (+ 3 other string instrus) as it can a cello, viola, violin, etc.
