My god, I've looked for this song on and off for years. Couldn't remember who sang it, just the title. I had the album back in 99. Haha, gosh.. it's been 10 years and it's odd how familiar it still sounds.
A good friend of mine introduced me to this song + video not long before I left town one year. Didn't see him again. He died young. Terry V from Darwin ex SA.
The first time I heard this song was Friday 10th July 1998 close to Berlin, Germany - yes, exactly one day before the Love Parade. It was broadcast on a British radio station which I suspect was the BBC World Service doing a feature. At the time I was taking the train from Frankfurt an der Oder back to my hostel on the Wannsee. I wish I could see the actual video of this song. Thanks for posting this!!! It brought back great memories.

This song was one of the things that made working at the video shop enjoyable.
It played a few times a day on the video loop and I just loved it.
I finally found her album on Amazon and bought it! Great stuff!
