Their relationship was just so sweet. Definitely can see the love they all have for each other. Closest knit family I've ever seen. It makes me so sad to think that Kate's gone ;(

Makes me even more sad to think that Anna, Rufus Martha, Louden, and everyone else who dearly loved her, had to deal with that.

They're family is a true gift.

I saw Kate, Anna, Rufus & Martha perform at the playhouse in Sacketts Harbor, NY in September of 1995. They were fantastic, and I later acquired their McGarrigle Hour album. I already had "Kate and Anna" and the French album. Kate's loss is ours, as we are all her family.

Kate and Anna ...... What a powerhouse .... I remember listening to the Heart Like a Wheel album when it came out , Over and Over and Over Again ... And of course the CBC vignet " Log Drivers Waltz " . Such a great cover that it still plays in my head always . Check the cartoon out on U tube .

Canadian artists are treasures for us all. I remember on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) W. P. Kinsella saying he considered himself North American.

Kate and Anna, however, brought an additional dimension -- that of being Quebecois.

I'm sure Martha and Rufus are making their own way. Shows what can happen when a family is immersed in music.

he opened the show and then was sort of in the crowd watching the rest of the show after that. I didn't know who he was prior to this concert so didn't film any of his songs unfortunately. he did gain a new fan in myself though!
