i have fished in almost every part of the world and have not yet come across anywhere that catching bait with a castnet is illegal in fresh water and only a few places in salt water,but it is illegal world wide to record someone without permission

it is not illegal to throw cast net in freshwater, do not know where you are at but you can take bate with cast net, so it is not illigal. And also it has been quit awhile since i have seen anyone taking bass or what ever with cast net so i do not see a big problem with it, i think the stock will keep on going for a long time to come, don;t get so up tight about it.
