YES - you can re-program the YubiKey as often as you like with new static passwords - but for security the device is write only - so you cannot go back to the original One Time Password, though you can chose your own AES key to start generating One Time Passwords again. However, in the current release of the YubiKey Management System (YMS) you cannot use the Yubico authentication server for validation - you will need to run your own.
@YubiKey How many websites use the OTP-system compatible with Yubikey? Im thinking of buying one just for the static password feature to enhance my Truecrypt password. And if I understand you correctly it is possible to set and change the static password as many times as I want?

So if its setup with static password, that cant be changed? I can reset it to choose another random static password?
