@sweepy90 : On audi car, you could setup a speed limit warning. If you look carefully, you could see that this warning is appears at 150km/h.

It's autolimited at 271 km/h at 6000rpm so i think that it reaches more...

Audi S5 really is a great car but you can't say it is better than R8, audi r8 is supersport exotic car!

another question... in spite of what is written in audi's manual, about the fuel policy, what are your averages? how many Km do you do with full tank, with an average speed of 150km/h?

i work at 30km away from home (most highway), if i do an average of 70km/day, in 30days its 2100km. with an average of 12L/100Km its 252Lites per month.

does the S5 worth as a "all days car" ? I think that it is, but i would like an opinion of a current user.

Full tank -> 400km maximum, only on highway

If you drive in town or city, you can do about 300km before visit a petrol station.

The S5 can be an all day car, however you have to remember that its not cheap to use it all the days. It drinks a lot and tyres are quite expensive. Nowadays, the computer of my S5 shows an accumulated average of 17l/100km. But If you can buy it, go on! It's a great car.

I think that these 3 cars are very close, but m3 is quicker at high speed, it has 65 hp more than the S5 ;) However, quattro is the best traction that i've ever tested, it's like a slot car! And BMW has a lot of to learn about AUDI S5 design. It's my opinion ;)
