  • you live in oregon?

  • @bigford203 nope, washington

  • What hapened to Betsy's old body?

  • cool!

  • I've been whining about my exhaust problems on my truck. Couldn't imagine doing this kind of work. Looks like you guys had plenty of beer and smokes. What more do you need.

  • Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!! it looks awesome

  • I like it!

  • Thats a cool slide show! Looks like lots of work! Thumbs up!

  • what kind of lift do you have on that

  • @AKMJ47 4in. superflex deaver springs, still need to get shocks though.

  • didnt know u wanted a new body i had one sitting im my yard complete 79 less the engine i kept the front axle and scrapped thee rest it was strait and rust free and nice paint too bummer

  • @apintonut crap, it always works out that way too. : (

  • You should paint it,If you don't want to it's okay I see the wheeling comment but That's just my opinion

  • Betsy got a nice massage

  • man I'd like to have one of them old broncos to go riding when my brother finished his '78 cj7 buildup. nice looking rig. just subscribed, have plenty to look thru.

  • great video!

  • Hey i know where you guys live i see you drivin around all the time, im sellin my truck so my dad gave me his 1979 bronco, so youll probably see me drivin around in the next few months, it needs a new gas tank and break system and theres some rust but other than that it looks, runs, and drives great. yours is lookin good with the new body. Bronco's are AMAZING!

  • Great job, Betsy still lives!

  • Good job! They don't make em like that anymore.

  • i should really work on my old bronco, I feels so bad letting it just waste away. tried to fire it a few weeks ago, but im thinkin its a ground. funny thing is.. its grounded better than the freekin space shuttle on newyears. Love the video! youre right! its great to have friends on the farm Haha

  • Sweet, looks great, are you gonna repaint it so it matches or just leave it like it is? Etheir way its good to have it back, I know the feeling, I have went through 3 73-79 ford trucks, the green f250 is my current one, I had to replace the gauges cause the printed circuit board was bad in it causing my dash lights to flicker off and on, luckily I kept my 79 as a parts truck, there the best ford trucks ever made.

  • @76hotrodF250 probably not gonna bother painting it, it's still a wheeling rig

  • @fordchick79

Why would you bother putting a new body on a wheeling truck, then? The other one looked rust free, so...

  • @Tboninator the other body had been rolled and hit by an RV in the past 2 years, the cab was crushed and body seams were popping, you could hear it pop and creak when driving it was getting so bad.

  • @fordchick79

Didn't look that bad... Typical Ford, though, right? lol

  • @Tboninator yep, that's a Ford for ya, can roll it and then have an RV hit it and still drive it around ; ] the main problems with old body was the canopy not fitting right and couldn't put a new wind shield in with the cab crumpled.

  • @fordchick79

Well I'd hope it could withstand a few cosmetic blemishes without any mechanical issues. Hahaha...

Sucks though- glad you had plenty of help to get everything swapped out. I'm more of a fan of these old Fords than the new ones (still a Chevy boy, though). Keep the videos coming, I've been enjoying them.

  • nice to have good friends and a big barn to work in.

  • nice looking vehicle you have, ive always loved bronco's theirs something magical about them i think.

    Matt

  • @funguy1822 they are also getting rare and hard to find now. my bronco is not much to look at but it still runs and people look and comment about it from time to time. i probably gatta start saving up for a new engine. i think mine is starting to die.

  • That is so awesome! I've been on the hunt for a new body for my '79 but hadn't run across anything decent yet. This summer I hope to do an engine rebuild; nothing major though.

  • looks good. what was wrong with the old body other then some dents in the rear?

  • @fordbroncodave rolled 2 years ago, hit by an RV 1 year ago, it was still driving but not solid.

  • Awesome lotta hard work doing all that . . One day my jeep will go through that transformation also . Good job . Ready to go wheelin now ?

  • looks good and in good time too.

  • Nicely done. :)

  • looka good girl!! we need to go to tahuya some time when I get my jimmy runnin

  • @YamahaRiderz2u there's a bronco run to tahuya in june, I'll keep you updated on it if we go. : )

  • should just put some money in the black one that one looks cooler in my opinion but then again its a cool style from ford

  • @ndubb1 the black one was owned by the guy we bought the new body from.

  • @fordchick79 oh ok..i saw one exactly the same last weekend, tires and everything. looks good both the black one and yours

  • why was ur other body rustinhg away ???? or what ??

  • @ford1979truck it had been rolled 2 years ago and a RV crashed into it a year ago, I've been driving it but seams were popping and the cab was crushed, we also didn't have a back window which the new body had.

  • the vin is on the frame and drivers door

  • About time . HA The only thing wrong now is the vin#'s don't match.
