Well, do you have Windows Movie Maker, it comes with everyone Windows computer (I think) and to get clips find a YouTube Downloader on google or something :)

i dont know how to download videos from a dvd but you can download clips from youtube using a youtube video downloader. i have one and its soo easy. just go to google and type in "youtube video downloader".
