Big U2 fan here, but have to agree with Caledonian2006. He's the "Ringo" of the group.  Their loyalty to him needs to commended because he was truly horrible in the early years.

Remember The Edge even had to play bass on "40" while Adam was relegated to one string and some effects on Edge's guitar.

It's 'Magnificent', it's just your hearing the guitar part only from the mix of the song...despite it sounding like the more anthemic  U2, it's one of the more layered tunes on the album.
