this bird is cute, I had one actually temperarly as it injured itself i loved him then set him free to this day he comes to sit on our railing of the stairs and looks for me. Hes a sweety. Named Chipper

I grew sunflowers one year and Wow, before that I had never seen a Goldfinch before...They love those sunflowers, and they'll eat them until they wither...usually seeing two goldfinches at a time.

I have had my feeder with Nyger Seed out for nearly 2 weeks. I haven't seen the 1st Goldfinch. I wonder if I am doing something wrong?

I wish I could get that close to our finch feeders. Maybe when we can move the one back to right outside our screen porch. In the spring we would have 6 or 7 goldfinches at that feeder at once and 15 or so in all on all three feeders.
