  • My Chinese herbalist friend says Singaporean mothers are responsible for the more gay men!

She believes they give too much barley water to boys at puberty and cause the biological imbalance leading to higher leaning to"Aqua".

Maybe consider feeding barley water and less red meat to see for yourselves if your sons become less aggressive.

Too much barley water for growing girls is said to lead to what she terms"Bai Dai".

Maybe Josie and all should look to barley water rather than to Satan &all

  • Too sad singapore got lots and lots of gays now! to all the gays " Do let your father/brother marry sleep with man and let your mother/sister marry/sleep with a woman la" go get aids and to all gays go to hell!!!!!

  • Surprisingly, this saga is so much more dramatic than the Mas Selamat escape and then capture recently... HAHA!!!!

  • Maybe the church should be monitored to ensure no undue foreign influence had been behind this saga, either to destabilize mainstay Singapore secularism or divide Singapore women.

I am a Catholic but under the social contract of living in a secular state, I do not feel any religious grouping has the social mandate to take things into their own hands and aggressively seek to take over a secular organization and to impose there own religious beliefs and moral agenda.

    Singapore needs be watchful.

  • haha i like. the media portrays old guard in a positive light. But then again, from all ways you see this issue, you are unable to put them in a negative light anw...

  • Sir, we live in a multi-religious, multi-racial society (I assume you are Singaporean). If you wish others to respect your views and religious belief, you need to do the same to others. Muslim ladies who wear headscarves are merely doing so in accordance to their religion, and is no more different than a Christian lady wearing a cross or a Buddhist lady wearing a protective amulet, or a Hindu lady wearing a bindi. It is this very diversity that makes Singapore what it is.

  • thanks but recording very poor quality

  • thanks ya! =)

  • Huh? What are you talking about? There are Christians, Catholics and Muslims in the old guard. It is the new exco that is comprised of mainly Christians. So who's playing with the religion card?

  • yes

    to stand up for pluralism

    diversity

    inclusiveness

    and your rights...

shouldn't that be what being a singaporean all about?

unless as a singaporean you believe that there are those who must be discriminated etc...

  • 7:14 - 7:18: "The highlight has to be the STEPPING DOWN of the aware exco"

    Congrats Old guards!

  • yes the video is jerky but appreciate the speedy uploading!

btw, i wonder why religion has to come into play?

  • It's not so much "religion has come into play" as much as "we should keep secular organizations secular". The old-new-exco were all chinese; they were mostly Christians from the same church, and there were no "other voices" present that were needed to balance out the racial-religious mix to ensure the proper representation of Singaporean women.

  • is the video jerky or my computer?

  • Hey thanks for putting these up within such a short timeframe! Truly appreciate it!
