  • Muy bueno Michael, buena interpretación.

  • hey frostymorn that was superb.

That has been one of my favourite fingerpicking tunes since I saw Eric play it when I was a teen. Over 300 years ago.

    Flawless man!

  • naaaa!!100 puntos!!!

  • I caught one of your songs, then another, and then another....great!

  • who's the other guy playing?

  • A very great job ! Fabulous ...

  • Nicely done!

  • i love your skill

  • Nice arrangement and good performance Thumb up 4U

  • Old school))))

  • very nice!

  • MASTER

  • Very good!!!

  • o my jesus christ

  • Great cover of Eric's Arrangement.

Close microphone would help the tone.

  • Great playing I really like your guitar, sweet sounding!

  • Fantastic cover! Enjoyed it, thanks.

  • ¡¡Amazing!!

  • Nice playing. IS that your froggy bottom?

  • To be fair you should at least show the other guitarist! JK - nice - Rich

  • one of the best Beetles songs ever!! and the best cover I've ever heard!!!!!! 5*

  • o_O amaziiin!!!

do u have tabs for it?

  • Comment removed

  • Tab can be found in " Fingerpicking Beatles" by Eric Schoenberg.

  • spot on. so good. i'm newish to ragtime, your vids are great because you seem to have one for each tune i'm learning! all though i thought i'd nailed some of them, obviously not!

  • Great videos my friend! What strings do you use if i might ask?

  • I do not own this guitar and it has been a while since it was in my hands. My guess on the strings would be Thomastik Spectrum, however. One of my favorite strings.

  • YOU'RE A SUPER GOOD GUITAR PLAYER MAN! AS we say in Argentina.... "Un Zarpado"!!

    Very gOOD...

  • To Argentina - thank you very much for the kind words!

  • great guitar and nice job with the playing :)

  • wow, great! I could listen to this all night ^_^

  • how are froggy bottoms compared with other brands like martin, collings, huss and dalton, bourgeois, and collings

  • All are fine guitars, none is intrinsically better or worse than another. It comes down to ergonomics, sound and simply personal preference.

  • Woaw... Nice done.. Sounds fabularious... keep up the good work

  • It pays to have talent!!!!

  • Maybe I missed it, but is the part between :58and 1:10 Eric Schoenberg's arrangement as well? Thanks for your reply!

  • Every section is based on Eric's arrangement, though I may not play it exactly the way Eric did! I have heard arrangements of Lady Madonna by several other guitarists, and many pickers do leave out the bridge section - the one that starts on the 5th fret D minor barre chord.

  • Nice playing! Beautiful guitar!

  • good job

  • amazing my friend! I'm trying my best to work up to your level. But you are incredible! just the fact that u can separate the bass line and the melody like that stuns me!

  • can u make a tab PLZ PLZ=)

  • excellent!!!!

  • How long have you been playing man?

  • nice man!!!! awesome!

  • awaesome man

  • holy shit!

  • Very similiar to Tommy Emmanuel's version! except for the part between 1:00 and 1:10 and the ending.

    Good job with the tune!!!

  • Thanks for the comment. This transcription is by Eric Schoenberg and includes the bridge of the tune which starts on D minor. It's a challenge to play that section and I have heard several guitarist skip that part. But it can be done! It's worthwhile to try to find Eric's album from the 1980s.

  • Very nice, you absolutely deserve such a fine instrument ;)

  • wow i wish i could play it that smoothly, ill keep practicing

  • Very elagant......

    I like it!

  • This is the best finger picked version of this song I've ever heard.

  • This guy must be a pro. It's too smooth.

  • Your right, it's too smooth. Wonder if the Holy Spirit of God is in him bringing about this perfection.

  • What's the story of your Frog? Custom built? Michael is a good friend of mine, built an H-12 for me in '95. You seem to own an admirably eclectic range of instruments in any case. Or maybe you don't keep them in cases....sorry, couldn't resist.

  • This is a standard issue H-14 built in 1995. I do not own this particular guitar... in truth, I do not own most of the guitars I record with!

  • Just listened to Chet Atkins version of this on youtube and yours sounds better.

  • heard this played on a 5 string banjo, check out John Dowling former world picking champ (english bloke) if youve only just heard of Tommy Emmanuel, check out Martin Taylor (english bloke) but buddy your way up there!!

  • Hi, great playing! Try to check out Tommy Emmanuels version. Often called beatles medles.

    Regards Esben

  • I recently found out about Tommy Emmanuel, he's a very exciting and entertaining picker! He also seems to be versed in the American thumbpicking tradition - nice. When he plays Lady Madonna I see that he leaves out the bridge - the section of the tune that starts with the minor IV chord. About 58 seconds into the recording on this page.

  • Love your playing and the sound of the guitar too.

  • His Guild D55 guitars gotta be the best sounding acoustic guitars I ever heard.

  • from argentina again...amazing.... I can't find others words...

  • Nice playing!! To tell the truth I looked up froggy bottom guitars, I've been intrested in them especially YOURS! My price range is $2500-$3000, think I could get something like that with hat cash?

  • UR AWESOME!!!!! =]

  • that was amazing, you should be proud of yourself

  • gosh I love your playing!

  • Your fingers move so perfectly they almost look robotic.Very nice indeed.

  • Very nice!

  • glad others are keeping schoenberg alive!

    recently learned his arr. of Mother Nature;

i applaud you for picking pickable tunes to

play. folk music has this effect of socializing tunes that were originally too

complex - but still getting the point across!

  • well done; schoenberg did a playable version

    didn't he? ton van bergeyk's is super-hot,

    but ridiculously difficult to play...

  • Thanks. This is Eric Schoenberg's arrangement. I have not heard Ton's arrangement, will have to look it up.

  • As usual, better than the original. You can't see me but I'm holding up two bics lighters with flame on high yelling MORE! MORE!

  • very exelent or awesome !!

  • I have a great love for you, sir.

  • Great job.

  • Well done!

  • wow good work really smooth!

  • Bravo...bravo...

  • Good work

  • BRAVO!!!! 5 Stars

  • Great job.

  • really good!!!!!

  • Real tight, nicely done.
