i have a 2007 v6 and im making 265 to the wheels with bolt ons..275 with a superchrger is pretty shitty, but congrads on your setup not many ppl soupe up a v6. u shud invest in new forged internals and boost ur pressure up you could be hittin 360ish to the wheels. my plan is to get my internals into my car over the winter and throw on a procharger next summer. it will be dynoed around 360 to the wheels.

@oceanxcityxo Personally, let me congrats you! I'm not a fan of the '11 bodystyles but they have SWEET engines! First off, the first thing you need to look into is some new mufflers (Check AmericanMuscle), I'd suggest FlowMaster or Borla, or for a tad cheaper get some Megaflows. That's the best bang for your buck as far as sound goes. After that, any exhaust upgrade will boost sound.

Hey I am about to get the Vortech V3 supercharger for $3400 that's including install. What numbers are you putting out? Are you running stock gears?  I plan on getting 4.10s with posi.

@zatro I am running stock gears at the moment, but I plan on getting  a GT rear axle takeoff with 3.71 gears with trak-loc. as for numbers, I havent gotten it dynod yet but I plan to as soon as i get my rims/axle installed

Yes. It came with instructions within the supercharger kit, and you could do this in ur garage as long as you have lifts or jacks....not to mention your gunna need a good amount of tools

Get the intercooler man. Makes a huge difference. Cools off all that heat going to the engine which just means more power.

i wouldnt have wasted my money on that supercharger. with that $3.000 i would have gone with forged internals, cam and lifters, and wedge top pistons. Remember what they say "make the horse power dont buy it"

Did you install the supercharger? If so how hard was it to do?

Also if you dont mind how old are you? I am 17 and I am purchasing a stang in May after I graduate. I am just curious how the supercharger would fit into a teenage budget.

I installed it with a lil help from my uncles co worker. it wasnt that hard to do but very time consuming. i was 17 too when I installed it last year and it only took 6 and a half hours to fully install. usually they go for 3800-4000 bucks but i managed to get a hook up for 3300.

yeah i got a good deal on it. it just came with the supercharger, fuel injectors, and everything you need to get it running. it did not come with a intercooler though. as for a video, i could put one up but its raining a lot down here and so i need to wait for it to dry lol
