  • that shit is hot. I want to eat it.

  • Damminix Tick Tubes eliminate deer ticks before they get Lyme - before they are a threat. Instead of spraying your yard with insecticide, it's a targeted solution. Spring & summer is when you apply them.

  • Yea I live in Connecticut.... What of it? I'll give you Lyme disease if you don't shut the fuck up!

  • this, is the..... OH FUCK YOU SHUT UP

  • Ugh, I got one of these on my neck right now. Well, just its head. =S

  • The US is obviously brilliant at all sorts of genres of movie and TV show, but alas documentaries... fuck no! "Hey there would you check out this little critter. Bet he could sure do with a diet soda right now!" etc etc

  • When i removed tick from my cats body i was torturing this sucker for hours! I wish this and excinct

  • I have a scoop with a notch in it designed for removing ticks. I use it on my dog mostly. It gets the whole thing every time, head and all. It's called ticked off. Even if you don't get the head and mouth parts out, the tick can't transmit disease if the body is no longer attached. The whole tick has to be attached for 24 to 48 hours in order to transmit disease.

  • a deer tick got on my leg and it was kinda big

  • i had like 6 of those on my ass after a mountain trip.. my ass has never been bulkier or more colourfull

  • the music is awesome!

  • oh shit i live in connecticut

  • I thought Deer Tick was a band.

  • i scratched 1 off that wat bitin me it had a peace of my skin in its mouth when it came out then i ate it will i still get lyme?

  • You're not suppose to scratch it off dumbass xD

But if it all went out your good, but there's a chance you just scratch off half of the bug and one half gets stuck inside you if you scratch.

  • it was on my fore head and my friend said i had something on my face so thats y i scratched it off i didnt know what it was at the time

  • You ATE IT?

    Are you fucking stupid?

  • i jk

  • Removing the tick is definately what youshould have done! Only deer ticks carry lymes disease. It is about half the size of a seasame seed. If it was bigger then it most likely wasnt a deer tick. If it was a deer tick it takes 24 hours for the tick to trasnfer the diesase to you, so removing it was the best thing. People say not to remove it yourself and have a DR do it, but sometimes there isnt time and if you do get 1/2 of it out it'll be dead an unable to transfer the disease. I THINK!

  • if u leave the mouth there u can still get the disease

  • what an annoying video.

  • I had lymes disease. I got it from a deer tick in my yard in Virginia. It bit me on my back and the bacteria entered my spine and I got lymes disease in my brain. My face was paralyzed and I couldnt speak without pausing or stuttering. I couldnt remember good freinds names. It was horrible. I had to have intravenious antibiotics for a month and needed steroids to heal the swelling in my brain. If you think you might have lymes, see a dr immeadiately.

  • I had one on my back too!!! I also got it in VA or I think it was MD because I was with my step mom looking around on big lots for houses to be built and sold... mehh, something like that...

  • i live on long island...yikes

  • SAME! i just found a tick on my back!!

  • nobody will nuke my state! I don't wanna die!!

  • so what you are saying is we should nuke Connecticut?

  • wow great video..love the house that jack built theme....

I have a puppet show regarding lyme Cammster101

  • Borrelia anyone

  • actually the ciggarette or vaseline is a myth your actually supposed to get a knife and pop them out from under neatth if u try to burn them or use vaseline they regurgitate what ever is in thei stomachs into the wound

  • lol ticks are not good a dogding bebe guns

  • 3 mins ago i found a dear tick inbetwine my fingers its still there and thinking of it my feet are numb?! i think well thats bad rilly bad tick-numbnes-chance of lymes

  • Are you sure it is a deer tick? A deer tick is about half the size of a sesame seed. A regular tick commonly known as a dog tick is much bigger. Only the deer ticks carry the lymes disease and not all deer ticks carry the disease. Also, not all bites that transfer the disease make the classic ring. If you think youve been bitten by a deer tick you should see a dr. I dont know how long it takes for you to get lymes or if your test would show positive for it. You really have to see a dr.

  • ill fucking punch every fucking tick in the face

  • i have massachusetts covered, i already punched every fucking tick in massachusetts in the fucking face, but your still welcome to punch em to

  • @NeverxBail17 you watch too much dane cook...

  • da worst be findin a tick on a tic gyal

  • lol i rember when i was 7 i had a tick on my leg i was like bloody hell get it off lol i was freaked out i was lucky it hold took 12 minutes to get it off my dad used his plyers to get it off it bit a hole into me...then he dumped it into te tiloet lol...

  • i live in britain.. are ticks dangerous over here? becuase my dog had 3 at once ... a orange one? and 2 white ones.. one was lodged in his paw and into his tendons so he couldnt walk properley .. where do they live? and are they common and that dangerous? ive had a phobiaa of these for years..

  • Yes they are dangerous. You can contract lyme disease which is like influenza but harder to diagnose i think it can also cause liver damage as well. If you ever get one on your body smoke it out with a cigarette-never attempt to pull it out with your fingers 'cos you will squeeze what ever it has in its stomach into your wound.

  • hum.. no they aren't dangerous.those are just parasites .

they move from dog to dog and just one is enough to create an army. i noticed them on our dogs, some of those were stuck on his arse deep in a cloth of hair.he was rubbing his arse against the floor cos he couldn't itch the area they were on.they stick like glue. i am old school i used some kerosene to get rid of them and shampoo the dog like 4 times.i had to put bleach just about everywhere in the house to ensure thre wasn't any

  • one time a found a tick on my ballsack... so fucking scary

  • those are crabs, good sir

  • lol

  • At least you got your balls sucked, right?

  • I found a tick on me this morning. Though it was a piece of paper annoying my elbow or something. So I grabbed it and went to take it off. Next thing I knew I heard a pop, once it removed from my skin and I was like..wtf? Looked and there was the tick in my fingers. I just washed it down the sink.

  • i had a load of those on me today.

  • A tick Bit Me On My Penis Now It Itches.

  • Comment removed

  • Really because it does not itch when a tick bites and it doesn't just bite and let go either it sticks. Now you look like a perv... congratulations. How do you feel?

  • Are You Kidding Me? Tick Bites Itch and swell so.. yea

  • I think I got the tick because I had a school field trip to Lake Minnewaska, which is like a hiking placee... Or after Minnewaska I went to my friends house and we went in the feild with tall grass and I could've gotten it there..,. Hoipefully I dont have lyme disease!

  • Well I just took a shower and I think i saw what was a tick on my inner hip. It was sticking out, like its head was on my skin and it bottom part of the body was sticking out in the air, I hate bugs and I was all like OMFG GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!!! First I took it of Gently and it wouldnt come off, so then I just kind of ripped it off. There is just like a little red mark VERY VERY little.. When I was younger I had a tick on my fore head and I got blood tested and I never had lyme diseasee...

  • a deer tick just bit me and i had it for 16 hours and now im just waiting to see if i will have the disease or not... hope not!

  • Don't worry a deer tick usually has to be attached for at least 36 hours for you to get lyme disease, I wouldn't worry, but just keep checking the bite area to see if there is a bull rash just in case.

  • bullseye*

  • I had Lyme Disease. Took antibotics and now I'm fine but it was pretty bad at one point....Couldn't move one side of my face and I had a really stiff neck.

  • Ew, groooosss Dx A tick actually dropped off of my cat yesterday while I was drawing on the sofa and I freaked out and smashed it with my pen. IT was still moving and I cut it in half with scissors. And it was STILL moving. Zombie tick!

  • Uhh just pick it up and flush it down the toilet lol. I had 2 ticks on me, one was on my neck, a dog tick but I caught it while it was crawling before it bit me, down the toilet it went! The other was a deer tick that had just bit me right below my left pinky to the left of the knuckle, I felt it right away (stupid tick) and while I was pulling it out I accidently pulled his body off of his head (oops rofl) but then I pulled out his head and down the toilet they went >:D Your not giving me lyme!

  • Ticks are extremely resilient. It's actually possible for it to crawl back up. You should always do your best to kill them when you find them, or wrap them in a piece of toilet paper at least.

  • Really? I guess I should try to do that old burn trick on them.

  • Not a good idea. I burned a tick over the toilet and it exploded. Granted it wasn't a lot of blood that splattered out of it, it was really disgusting. Not recommeneded!

  • Dude i was running in the woods last night next morning theres a damn tick on my neck then later on my hand it scares the crap out of me

  • i hate ticks they fucken scare me!

  • doesnt the tick have to be latched on the hosts body for 36 hours before actually contracting the disease? Or is it just one bite?

  • Any bite from any animal should be treated with caution

  • Ticks can be dangerous, but tocks leave you no time at all!!

  • LOL...nuthing more to say...

  • man.. gross

  • Yes, lets get a guy and put a tick on him so he can have arthritis

  • so wait... whats lyme disease??

  • he has a great sence of the obvious

  • y is every one spamming the same comment over and over again its fucking anoying man!

  • I've had Lyme Disease eight times.

    So much fun!

  • ticks sucks balls.

  • total crap here.

learn about how the disease is transmitted, when it transfers from tick to human. THAT will keep you from getting sick

  • i got bit and got arthlwitis, lol listen at 1:06

  • Are you sure you have Arthritis?

I don't know since you can't even spell what you have.

  • at 1:06 it sounds like he says arthlwitits, lol

  • LovelyYTRocks, you should have actually *listened* to what SpiritEaterr said.

  • I had lyme as a kid, it ruined one whole summer for me. Half my face became paralyzed, and that caused me to have trouble eating and I could barely smile. It was bad, but at least the antibiotics worked. :)

  • lol this is weirdly funny

  • Lyme disease is nothing...although it's hellishly hard to cure with anything (only certain antibiotics), it's rarely life threatening... But there comes meningoencephalitis which is really widespread in Europe- a virus that infects brain and spinal cord and which is EXTREMELY life threatening and hard to cure and is MUCH, MUCH more widespread in thicks than lyme...

  • ..so to say I hate thicks would be nothing compared to what I really feel :/ ..there's vaccination to prevent from the disease, though. But it's not always possible... Also, whoever said that wearing long clothes will prevent from ticks to bite- BS.! Ticks sense your heat and therefore will easily get to the other side of your clothing and bite. Yeah, it's better to wear longer clothing but if it's dark it doesn't matter- it's gotta be white or something so you can spot the tick more easily.

  • Really if you want to prevent ticks from latching on to you the best thing to do is to tuck in your shirt and tuck you pant legs into your socks, you look funny but it will keep them at bay untill they reach your neck or bare arms where you're more likely to notice them.

  • *shivers too* I'm so paranoid about those things... Any time there's a small speckle of anything on me I automatically think of ticks. T^T thankfully I've always been wrong... but eee.

  • *SHIVERS* eeeeeeeeEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH UUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHH.......... so icky and disgusting, i HATE THEM!!!

  • "This is the cow with the crumpled horn,

    That tossed the dog,

    That worried the cat,

    That killed the rat,

    That ate the malt

That lay in the house that Jack built."

  • I live near Lyme, CT. HOly sHit!

  • we must kill you thanks to this educational video

  • haha pwnt

  • Yeah, i pulled a tick off my dog and i blew it up with a lighter, they're sooooo grooossss =( =( =(

  • i hate this stupid narrator

  • But his the only one that doesn't have a monotone voice, true?

  • lol.i totally love how the narrator narrates the story.his voice is funnily weird!

  • this is me watching another more interesting youtube video.

  • God I hate those things. They are terrible down here in the South, just killed one today, it was full of some animal blood, gross. In fact after tracking outside I found one on my elbow several days ago. I hate ticks.

  • I once found a big fat juicy tick eating the flesh out of my poor little puppy so I grabbed tweezers and pulled it off and threw it onto the ground and stomped on it.

  • Apparently u can avoid this by wearing long sleeved shirts and long pants. Just so the Tick can't get at your skin.

  • And the treatment is a lengthy time of antibiotics...sometimes for about 20 sum days.

  • I will say though...eeeew ticks xP

  • Lyme Disease is pretty much nothing now. It's not dangerous when detected early. It's rare that anyone gets it in Lyme. I think it's something like 9 people per year, which is nothing. It's treatable.

  • when i was five i saw this fat grey looking tick so i crushed it when i move my foot there was blood every where

  • well my experience was almost the same except my cousin stomped on it and blood squirt on my shirt and my face

  • thats nasty

  • it takes 24 hours of the tick being on you to transfer lyme disease. Usually takes 36. By then the tick is more swollen with blood and bigger. So check for them and change your clothes when you come back from one of those areas. They also have a bubble in their head to help them tell which way is up, find some nice warm spot to settle, your armpits or head or back, or yes what you're thinking, if your pants aren't tucked in possibly to somewhere else.

  • this is he sentense that was writen by the man

that watched a film about a town the got its name from a desease that came from a mouse and then spread to a poor fool a year later instead a deer.

  • Is it just me or does it sound like this guy is reading from a childrens book?

  • I hate ticks.

  • so ya, ill be staying the fuck out of lyme, connecticut

  • wow.

  • wow. let me just cross of connecticut from my places to visit...and done.
