Not to be a dick or anything, but.....Dhalsim. Even if Daigo lost, I mean.......It's Dhalsim. The odds were alredy against Daigo here(even though he beats the odds usually) but seriously. Distance high punching and low punching....Normal zone game or rather, normal flowchart type play u'd expect from a Dhalsim player. Nothing Daigo should really be ashamed of.

For you people who think Daigo wasn't trying you should really download the whole match. It actually came down to the wire. Daigo ended up losing that's just it.

Not to be a dick or anything, but.....Dhalsim. Even if Daigo lost, I mean.......It's Dhalsim. The odds were alredy against Daigo here(even though he beats the odds usually) but seriously. Distance high punching and low punching....Normal zone game or rather, normal flowchart type play u'd expect from a Dhalsim player. Nothing Daigo should really be ashamed of.

Yeah, that's TOTALLY the case. Sabin showed no sense of Zoning, skill or matchup knowledge against Ryu. It was all that bullshit. *rolls eyes*
Also, let's disregard that Daigo is one of the best players in the world. Let's just throw that all out.
I love it when people try to rationalize why other people lose and have really no idea *what* is going on. No concept of mindgames or high level play.

i know man all of these daigo dickriders can't accept the fact that he lost and besides it's not like he has never lost to a american player before. before this match began Sabin was trying to make a point on how the Japanese are great, but if your a top player you have a chance to beat them. that's basically it since of these new fans have come in and just been dick riding japanese players all day.

Well it's more insulting to Art if people say shit like that because it's a major disservice to him. Daigo is a person, above all other things. He plays Ryu. There's 1233523 Ryu players out there. The only thing that separates him from others is that he is very VERY consistent.
But the key to high level play (and BOTH players know this) is the mindgames and *WHY* moves are being thrown out. Just because ANYONE can throw a fireball doesn't mean that everyone knows *WHY* to throw them.

The difference is, fireball spammers don't know when NOT to throw fireballs, and so usually get beaten pretty easily.

It's not like Daigo's unbeatable he lost but, you try sitting in a room full of disrespectful assholes who some were completely hostile towards him for no reason. Even some were referring him as the N word (not making this up or starting anything). Just people should have a bit more respect sometimes and stop saying stuff like what now N----- and so on. I don't understand why American culture is so fascinated with the N word at times and coastal wars. It's a game give it a rest.
