so how long do you guys usually leave your trucks running? pretty much all the time when you're sleeping in them or just winter?

the truck i am using has a Automatic generator that keeps the

interior cool in the summer and warm in the winter. so My trucks engine is always off when stopped.

from haynes 1776: Some states have laws that prohibits idlling trucks. In the winter and summer months there are some exceptions. if you are in the middle of nowhere in a blizzard or 100+ degree heat, you got no choice but ot idle, if all companies equip their trucks with generators, idle time time go down a lot and less wear abd tear on truck. Idle-Air, until it went out of buisness, was abig solution to the pollution problem. it would be great if they can bring it back.
