@heroicphoenix000 not really. he whines a little but he gets over that in the very beggining of the game. He already went through his character development in @ 1 after all. No one else is realy as much of a douche as Kira in @3.

You can hold the Circle Button to speed the spell animations. I do that alot. You can do that as far back as Alpha 2.

Yep, that's the wonder of super robot wars. Every single unit on the hero side but one (the orange machine with the wrench) I from a mecha anime.

And if I recall all the units on the enemy side are too.

i have no idea how you guys play these SRW games, i have SRWOG2 for GBA that was imported a while back, but i just cant wrap my brain around it. that said, great vid, loved it when Double X showed up, love that music! also BUREST FIYA!!

SRWOG1/2 both came out in English. If you want a starting point learn the system from those two.

Non-Japanese speaking people can get past the language barrier just fine (there's a metric shit ton of translation/story guides on gamefaqs). And the menus are practically the same in every game.

Well, my ideal SRW would have those series and a distinct lack of Gundam SEED.

Sadly Banpresto doesn't have the rights to either VOTOMs or Gurren Lagann, and the balance issues of either of the two would be troublesome. Also sadly SEED is here to stay, at the very least Banpresto tends to cleanse much of the stupid from it.
