  • pacemaker sound like its batteri thing for the heart or something hehe why they called it that lol should be called pocket dj :)

  • no shoes or socks lol

  • This is far from the truth, read this before deciding of buying their product.

Theres no support, updates or software that really work

Search the threads of "getsatisfaction" dot com and you see that all this is fake!

    1. Pacemaker = gr8 product

    2. Editor is totally braindead / No updates

    3. Forum and support / spareparts = Nonexistent

You as custumers have the power to change, this is why ive decided to post here, I love the product and i wont stand seeing it die

  • screw the iphone, this is pretty cool

  • whats the name of the tune on deck two ? got to have it!!

  • hey!... can somebody tell me where I can buy it ...thank you

  • good mixing music

  • Its cool the only thing i dont like is that i cant put folders of music only songs and it makes it harddd to have over 20,000 songs do you think there is a way to put folders??

  • lol, i want it just because it goes up to 11!!

  • wireless mixing, fuck, that be cool... especially if i feel sick and want to throwup, i can mix throwing up, lol

  • God I want one

  • does this work well with normal popular tunes? For example mixing a Lady GAGA song with Dizzee Rascal? Any help would be good!

  • Hey Brian. A few questions for you. How easy is it to use the equalisers when in the middle of a mix? Seems to me you have to keep putting the track back in time regularly. Also can you list the mp3's in genre?

  • How Much Does That DJ Cost?? I Want One

  • $499

    but worth it

  • Is this practical to a pro DJ?

Will anyone pay me to hold a phone sized DJ booth?

What are the uses and advantages?

    Thanks for the video Brian.

  • Sure it could be very practical for a Pro DJ. I use it on the airplane to put mixes together. I can see a DJ doing the same thing on the train on the way to a club gig. For the mobile guys, this could be a pocket sized back-up system. For interactive entertainers, this could be an easy device to go into the crowd with for easy play/pause/next track solutions. The possibilities are only limited to your imagination

  • Brilliant demonstration, just a quick question. Would you recommend the pacemaker to somebody who has never Dj'ed before? Also, can pacemaker be used in conjunction with virtually any track, from any genre?

  • yeah any track can be loaded into this machine that you wish.

This would probably be a great way to start DJing for a beginner!

  • Haha, you can do a gig with only the pacemaker, two speakers and a megabar and a scanner. lol.

    Nice man.

  • can you do a loop with it?

  • Oh yeah, you can do some real tight loops

  • i all READY ORDER MY OWN :)

  • thanks for the tutorial man, my brother got this a few weeks ago

havent even touched it yet though lol

  • how many GB

  • i think u can get 60gb and 120gb

  • how much will it be?

  • I think it's going to be between $500 and $600 US, but not positive

  • Wow thats very reasonable. Thanks brian you are the best advise guy out there! Im probabably not this first to read this and I appoligize if I botherd you

    DjDefect -Chico Ca-

  • I to think 11 is adorable, I just love it

  • When you open up the Pacemaker in a file manager, and open up system.xml, what does it say for FWVERSION, SWVERSION, and BOOTLOADERVERSION?

  • I 'm currently using iTunes with Virtual DJ.

Will it copy over my playlists from iTunes as well?

  • I've had my eye on this toy for a long time. The first time I heard about it was on Wired magazine and it impresses me still.

    Good review.

  • "Crank It Up To 11!" SPINAL TAP ROCKS!

  • Why eleven? Why not make 10 a little louder? :)

  • Cos 10 isnt loud enough, i dont know how many times ive thought "shit i need an eleven"

  • Love it Bri!

Spinal Tap - "These go up to 11" lol

    Keep it up - great!

  • i just asked guitar center and they think i am crazy i asked in Austin, Las Vegas, West Los Angeles and they have not heard of it eaither

do you know if it does come on sale in the US were could i buy it?

  • You mean the people at Guitar Center are uninformed? Well at least they are consistant. HA!

It'll be here in either April or May. In the mean time, it's available at the website listed in the discription :)

  • yhea thnx they are very uninformed

  • Guitar Center employees don't know anything. They tried to sell me microphone XLR cables as DMX cables. They swore up and down that they were the exact same thing. I know they are similar, but they told me they were exactly the same.

  • do you know about how much does a

    60GB cost in dollars????

    thnx.

  • Another cool product Brian! Thanks for sharing.

  • That is very good but how loud can it go, and how much is it as well as where can you get them from ?

  • You plug it into some speakers

  • It goes as loud as your PA or speakers will allow

  • Hey, what are the names of the second 2 tracks?

  • I like the +1 thumbs up, but I still didn't get my answer.

  • I don't name the tracks on videos or in comments because the powers-that-be are constantly searching for tags like that and often flag the video because of that. I can tell you thoes tracks are from the CD Pool DJ only discs :)

  • basically the us version will be $799.99 for 120gb roughly the same for pioneer mk cdj i like the device although too expensive, but pacemaker is the futture. i can picture a club dj going into the crowd and mixing on the spot. it will really revolutionize the experience. also for people who just like to take it to their gigs

  • Hey Brian, think this would work great at kid parties where I am stuck on the floor alot...do you need another piece of equipment to go wireless with it?

  • Yes, you would need some kind of wireles stereo pack, but it is very posible

  • Its already out in europe for 499 euro's.

I think is a nice gadget, but is not better than 2 Denon Dns 3500 or something.

  • Hi Brian. Can you record your set on this device ?

  • Yes you can!

  • Looks cool

  • this looks really handy brian. how big of a hole will this put in my wallet? i know its not out yet, but what are you thinking that the cost might be?

    thanks

  • I'm not sure what the USA price will be

  • song at 4:50 please

  • well there goes my tax return. HA! I'm so buying that

  • is there anything like this but for video , i use video, but its getting harder to keep track of all the songs and there location on dvd.

  • to my knowledge, not with a handheald device. There are computer software programs that can do that for you, though. You can use anything from Mixmeister to Virtual DJ to SSL (with the right hardware, of course.)

  • oh no , not hand held , but like a program , i currentrly own virtuall dj but not the video software,, i guess iam gonna need a way better laptop with alot and alot of memory.

  • Fantastic piece of hardware!

I'm sure James Bond would be very envious by watching this right now since it's very handy and would easily fit in any tuxedo! =)

    Best regards,

    David

  • Would be a great backup (better than an iPod).

    DJ Maverick

  • well there goes another hit to the biz.

  • You don't like it?

  • if the music library is well stocked, what is to stop a deejay from bringing powered speakers, some lights and the pacemaker to a gig?

  • Not a thing! You'd probably want at least a small 2 channel mixer with a mic, but otherwise yeah away you go!

  • yeah i guess you're right...that whole emcee thingy

  • It's just the price that puts me off.

  • hoew does it calculate the BPM ? On the fly or does you need to software to do it beforehand ?

  • Good Question. There is included software that handles all that and then some. Should I do a video on that sometime?

  • The site says $748

  • about how much does it cost?, it looks like a solid piece of equipment

  • Just checked out the website and they point out and i agree great for the live streaming DJ .......while on your travels?

With my consultancy hat on a mic input would have made it totally complete but i guess they cant do everything, Perhaps on the later models? great videos bro

  • OK OK IM CONVINCED, after your tutorial i think even i could do something, its impressive! I LOVE the idea as a back up piece of kit but also as you know i go to Cyprus a lot always get asked to dj and started to think i better get some kit out there, This would be great plug in and away i go...............OK IM SAVING MY PENNIES! thanks for the heads up ,,,,jason

  • Great Tool Bri!

It's the sort of thing you could take on the bus or in public, with headphones, start mixing, no one would even know you were DJing.

    And perfect at gigs too!

  • that thing is awsome

  • Damn! I wish I could of seen it at YTDJs, but whatever, next time we meet up I'll have to see this gift from the heavens.

  • is it possible to beatmatch it yourself instead of just setting the bpm's at the same speed?

  • I love it and want one bad!!!

  • Yeah it's totally smooth. I'd like one for the summer so I'm not stuck inside while everyone's in the sun.

Can't believe it's not out in the US I thought they'd go mad for it and I'm sure the Japanese would go mad for it also.

  • do a vid using it in wireless

  • found a web site where it was $546.00

i wonder if they will have a special USA price - with our bad economy and all, lol

  • lol

i hope so seems like a fun toy probaly will never use it at a gig tho lol

  • I'm thinking that IS the "Special US Price". It's closer to $850 in Europe

  • YES! 11 lol thats the best volume setting ever.

  • Gotta love Spinal Tap!!!

  • kinda cool

  • Any ideas on how to use this wirelessly, so you can walk around the room and DJ? This would be awesome for mobile's who are very interactive and get out in the crowd. No longer would you be "tied to your booth!" You could essentially control your entire show from the pace maker! Maybe with enough adapters, you could use one of those wireless guitar-type plugs...kinda like AKG has...Any other ideas?

  • There are wireless packs you can buy. Ellaskins did a wireless vid once

  • could even use a wireless FM transmitter, and just plug in a normal radio, to your mixer, and walk around (to a limit)

  • I don´t own a pacemaker but I just occurs to me that a dual touch screen could make things faster and more interesting. For example, it would be nice if users could manipulate the FX/Volume/BPM and other parameters on a separate screen on 1 Deck While Loading a new Track on the other Deck.

  • Also, I forgot...... if both screens had the same interface and options one could essentially EQ two tracks at once or adjust volumes/BPMs/Loops etc.

    just an idea :)
