the N96 really really really sucks, it has the old CPU of the N73.... N95 8GB Dual ARM11 333 Mhz plus chip 3D plus better battery 1200 mAh while N96 dual ARM9 264 Mhz without chip 3D and a roobish battery 950 mAh (the N96's battery really sucks)

ON my N95 8GB I am able to play quake 3 arena without any problem, the N96 just can't run quake 3 arena because of it is so fucking slow

Probably there is one problem with N96 - maybe there are a lot of trash (temporary files for example) which can slow down the progress. I had the same problem with my N95 8Gb. So, the only way to fix this is to format your memory card. It is impossible that the newer N96 worst that previous N95 8Gb

That's because of the processor. N95 features an ARM11 dual processor at 333MHz. The N96 instead features an ARM9 running at 268MHz. The reason because N96 goes backwards is just for lowering costs of manufacturing.

The best performance in gaming, is on the N93.
