    Xie-xie

  • @antobasu1468 - thanks, glad youy like the song. BTW, my name is not Donny.

My username "Asianfanofdonny" means I am an Asian fan of Donny Osmond.

  • Sublime !!!

    Beautiful sweet love song.........

Very soft and touching beautiful voice !!!!!!!

  • @tammytsuiyuenman - true, when she was young she has a great igh and sweet voice, even better

    than Whitney Houston.

But by the 80's, her voice started getting lower and deeper.

  • @asianfanofdonny --- Many Chinese songs are very new for me as I have been listening to Chinese music for the last couple of year. This is first time I hear Zhang Xiao Ying sing. She´s really GOOD !!!

Thanks for telling me some history about her.

  • try sing this song on weddings

  • @jengkiesville - good advise during a wedding for the loved one not to stray.

  • My favorite song, especially by Teresa Teng, even though this is a different singer.

  • Glad you like it, thanks.

  • where are you now we miss you

  • Hi Tbhua, thanks for listenning to the song and watching the video. I hope you like it.

    Thanks and enjoy!

  • Yes. Of course I like it! I like these kind of songs much more than the western style beats ones. Since I'm western, I'm somewhat bored of hearing the same kind of music all around the world. The Chinese style songs are great and fresh!

  • Thank you so much CapanodaCanoa. You listed yourself as from Argentina and you like Chinese music. I am amazed. I am Chinese and I like some Spanish music too.

    Thanks and enjoy!

  • I think that "pop" means "popular" in a shortened form, so a traditional song can be also "pop".

  • This was a pop song in the seventies that uses more of the Chinese style beats and not the western style beats. Hope you like it.

    Thanks.

  • this sound is pretty cool !!

how is this kind of music called with pop and traditional elements ?

  • Thanks Jorgenstqt. The reason it is considered pop is because it was in the Chinese top hits and most requested songs in the 1970's. It just so happens that the composition consists of Chinese style beats just like some contemporary music would improvise, mix and match with old fashioned beats.

  • Beautifully sang! I like her high pitched melodious voice.

  • Zhang Xiao Ying 's another forever hits ..

    Thank you

  • You are very welcomed Wannaluv738. I'm glad to share it too.
