  • Is it just me, or does 0:05 to 0:12 sound like I Need a Doctor by Dr. Dre?

  • Whats the song when Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy dance to?

  • my favorite song in the whole movie

  • beautiful chillingly haunting song!!

  • Beautiful.

    Beautiful moment, beautifully orchestrated.

  • "do you not think him a handsome man?"

    "i darsay he is..."

  • Oh and the dilemma that Lizzy was in at this particular juncture went along perfectly with the song and the art/sculptures as well.

  • I love this scene in the movie. All the art and scultures that are shown to go along with it makes it perfect. I had never heard this song before and now after having learned it on piano play it almost everyday. I've also been on a regular viewing schedule with the movie which has become something of an addiction. An escape :).

  • The first song I played upon receiving the book (music sheet)

  • This is my favorite song from the movie. period.

  • this song it just brings tears to my eyes everytime i hear it. just the love and the hope thats expressed in this song it makes me wish i had someone who loved me this much.

  • If I had to choose between deaf and blind, I would easily choose blind. I could never go without beautiful music.

  • i especially love this one. it has such emotion to it that it makes me feel like i'm going through what lizzy is...

  • This whole soundtrack is so beautiful, it's making me come over a bit misty eyed!

  • This is how it sounds when you realise you desperately love someone with all your heart, and you feel hopeless.

  • This is what i call silent love .. best type of love eveR ...♥

  • This is what i call a silet love best type of love ever ...♥

  • fantastic book, movie, series and soundtrack<3 although this was a though issue and very critical against the soicity back then. I just love the love story. I want my own mr Darcy too come and sweap my off my feet. *sigh*

  • I learned to play this on the piano and I love it. It's nice to take a break to play the piano after hours of endless homework, especially any song from Pride and Prejudice's score. :) <3

  • @dellumn Just out of curiousity, where did you get the information that Jane Austen did not write her novels? I did an entire thesis on her and her work and I would certainly have to beg to differ.

  • I really wish that stories like "Pride & Prejudice" would really happen in today's society. Every time I watch the movie and see Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy's relationship progress, it warms my heart :)

  • I would totally travel back to those times...if i weren't brown

  • Sorry to say but the book may be confusing...even though the movie itself isn't flesh out all the way, I love the beauty of the book portrayed in the movie. Gotta love it <3

  • @LightAndDarkVen why do you say that the book is confusing? o.o

  • @jalex90 We read it in our English IV class, everyone got confused I guess for how it was written, like, the old style of english literature.

  • @jalex90 maybe because its written in an 1800 ct language. hehe. not always easy to keep the track of what being told. i know that if i hadnt seen the movie first I probably would've had some slight issues understanding the plot. but it is fantastic! LOVABLE<3

  • @jalex90 Well to some people the plot can seem a bit overwhelming. There are a lot of elements to it. In a way though that is what makes it a beautiful and pure piece of art. I love the book myself and I believe that though it is very complex its such a romantic piece of literature. It breaks my heart evertime. ^_^

  • @jalex90 It's fairly confusing simply because of the writing style back then - it's different from ours today. I think what LightAndDarkVen means it that it's difficult to fully understand what Jane Austen is saying (of course, this isn't for everyone, but personally I find it more difficult to understand.)

  • I want to fall to pieces every time this song startles me. It's too beautiful. Every time.

  • I love this music. I'll watch the movie randomly, it makes me envy a time when people spoke with a distinguished air of elegance, where words seemed to have had meanings which transcended the mundane uses we have for them today.. Such a beautiful work of art, makes a man like me cry sometimes

  • oh its beeaaauuuutiiiiiiiifuuuullllllll

  • CLASSIC MUSIC, NO CLASIC MUSIC

  • @Marn89 ? what do you want to say?

  • @jalex90 I do believe she/he is trying to correct someone's spelling...

  • @jalex90 The book was alittle hard to read for me, being thirteen and all. Because they used proper english that, sadly isn't used much anymore, not even from the English themselfs! I finished the book nonetheless.

  • @ichigoxmarura15 haha well, I've read little number of books in english, and I read pride and prejudice in spanish, I have it in english and I still have to read it. It was a fabulous edition, old style, hard cover and with those arabesque or baroque curved lines (how the heck you call them? xD) in golden, and I read it some weeks after watching the movie, I loved it!

so, I still have to read the original book, language, but I guess that if you read it once more and you'll get it better =)

  • @jalex90 I have this intresting edition that paperback, It's called Penguin Classic's and it has a introduction when you open before you start the story, with wikipedia context about Austen, and then at the end a Appendix, it's alittle annoying sometimes XD but i think my mam will like it.

  • @jalex90 You spelled classic wrong. CLASSIC***

  • Comment removed

  • @Marn89 Isn't it classical music, not classic... ;))

  • A tale of women who weere better than their circumstances.

    *Classic Music.

    That was bothering me.

    Thanks for uploading this. :)

  • @MsBlackTie ah, and there's me, correcting spelling errors when I have typos in my comment.

Sorry for the very ironic, and slightly hypocritical nature of that :D.

    *were

  • @MsBlackTie bothering you? is the truth, it's classic music -__-

    you people are never happy...

    thaks for the comment!

  • @jalex90 lol. No... you just spelled it incorrectly (clasic= classic)... I'm a bit of an English freak, I see spelling errors everywhere :P.

    lol. It's true, we're not.

But still, all thanks go to you for sharing this with us. (:

  • @MsBlackTie shut xD hahahahahaha thanks! and sory, my english is quite bad

and of course you are wellcome! ^^

I hope you don't mind if I don't change it, I'm too lazy to repeat this correction 17 times xD

    thanks again ^^

  • @jalex90 i think she was talking about the spelling. but thanks for this i love this whole soundtrack

  • I just want to live in Pride and Prejudice...

  • me too!!!

  • @Saragbearah

Hahaha watch Lost in Austen then! Not the same actors, but it's a film adaptation of what you just said. If only, though :(

I'd love to meet Mr. Darcy ;]

  • @Saragbearah aaah if only our wishes could come true...just unfair!

  • I think that is "Liz on top of the World"

  • i love learning soundtracks like thiss. very pretty

  • pretty is a good word to describe dario's composition (this movie)

  • no. I think that's dawn.

  • Yes. Yes. The music is lovely .... but does anyone know where I can see the actual sculptures? I thought they made their own music.

  • The Pemberley scenes were filmed at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, England. The sculpture gallery is there. Nearby is Stanage Edge where "Lizzie on top of the world" was filmed. It is thought that Jane Austen had Chatsworth in mind for Pemberley when she wrote the book.

  • Yes, Chatsworth House is beautiful. You have to see it and the surrounding. Very near it lays Haddon Hall were the new Jane Eyre from the BBC has been filmed. It's also very beautiful.

  • cool!!! :D
