I have no experience with Traktor. As for Ableton, You can assign one of the outputs as Master on Ableton and assign another for cueing. As long as all the tracks output to master, you should be good to go.
I'm looking at getting a 2d myself! Just wanted to know, If i got a 2d and ableton live or even traktor. Could i mix using the four channels on the 2d? why would i even need a mixer?

Even deep house is pretty wide...jazzy deep house(Kevin Yost),Vocal deep house(Miguel Migs) and so on.....
