Agree. When this game came out there was NOTHING compared to it. Not even Carmaggedon, not even close. in GTA you could do anything, from driving a Tanker into the Krishnas, up to looking for places to jump with your motorcycle.. and explode anything that stood in your way. GTA 1 KICKED ASS.

Anyway this GTA 1 is legal to download and use. I found other source. Try to type in google "GTA 1 windows 7 instalki" and click "GTA 1 - Grand Theft Auto 1 - Download - Instalki . pl" and click orange button "Pobierz" Wait a while and download should start. Have some fucking nostalgic fun

I got it working on Vista Ultimate 64 via XP compatibility, but now for some reason it works even WITHOUT xp comatibilty.

@wolfpack99997 Try this. The GTA program that you use to run the game, right-click it, then press properties. Go to compatibility, then check "run this program in compatibility mode for:", then scroll up to Windows 95. Once you have it set up, press Apply, then your done! You should be able to play the game now. If it dosent, try the prosess again, but keep going up OS versions. Have Fun

I especially love the second song. I remember walking ingame and a car drove by and you would hear that nice bass and drums without hearing the actually song cause it's inside that car. I would always steal that car lol.
