A big favourite of mine ... what a pity he didn't include the rest of the Magnificat. And what about the Nunc Dimittis?

This one was not written for Anglican/Episcopal use, where Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis go together (for example in Vespers/evensong!) - it was composed for Catholic Use and they only have the Magnificat in their Vespers! But anyway - he left out some lines of the Magnificat, as he did quite often in his litugical music! That´s because, he was religious, but not in "ecclesiastic" sense!
