Why bother wasteing your time going to apple just restore the phone from as a new device on itunes. Your springboard keeps crashing an going into a respring i wouldnt call it freezing but crashing just restore and choose setup as new iphone in itunes and your problems should be gone!

What happens is you have too many apps open. Once you open an app it stays open. Just tap twice on the home screen. It brings up the bottom menu. Scroll across the menu and you can see all the apps you have open. Just press the app and a minus sign pops up. That lets you close the app. Close all of your open apps and that should solve the problem. All those open apps also drain your battery faster. I had the same issue with my phone.(pcrepairnorthshore)

And the flash is not a LED light its a flash that real camera's use for flash so it has the red light before it flashes. Amazing photos and facetime. Steps:

Take your iPhone 4 and connect it to a PC or a Mac with the latest iTunes.

Go on the devices tab on the iTunes and select your iPhone and press restore, do not restore with a backup, restore it with a fresh new firmware.

Wait for the process to complete and you are done.
