  • I went to Alien War back in1995, when it opened, when I got a voucher with the Alien 3 video. Can't believe it was that long ago! Apparently, there was a flood in 97-98 & it never re-opened. Shame.

  • I went to this when I was 12 and I loved it! I was a massive Alien fan anyway but this tipped me over the edge. It was just as terrifying and as exciting as the guy makes out. Its a real shame there isn't stuff like this about today and everything relys so much on virtual reality (it was a virtual reality ride which replaced this in London I think). Its just not the same. A unique experience I will never forget.

  • Thumbs up if you want to be one of the marines scaring the crap out of people saying stuff like, "We're not gonna make it!!" Oh, god. I would be trying hard not to laugh while shouting that at my guests, looking at their priceless expressions.

  • How did I just hear about this place now when I was in London for 5 days just last month!?!? =/

  • @WolfPred101 It's been closed for years

  • I doubt I'd behave appropriately in that ride

I would take the pulse rifle from the guide's hand and start shooting the aliens myself.

  • Until this day, i still swear that something grabbed my leg near the end when you're all sitting down inside the 'shuttle'. Also the guy that gets grabbed from the elevator. Nostalgia!

  • @BoneCrusher994 yep it happen in 1996 gutted.. I got on the bus to the west end to go on it again, all the way there and it closed for good gutted :-(

  • @BoneCrusher994 No it don't mate, It was damaged from flooding from a shop or company above and it.

It caused alot of damage and the owners couldn't afford to repair it , I was told by another attractions staff member which was operating next to alien wars... I was gutted I couldn't go on the tour again... It was excellent

  • I went to this as a kid In London's trocadero I was about 13 at the time, I am 27 now, Waiting for about 30 mins to get in and it was excellent felt so much like the movie... shame the business above it flooded and caused expensive damage the owners decided not to repair.. I was gutted I couldn't experience it again.. considering people was also taken by the aliens during the tour

  • Shazam herbal Incense, good shit. has natural herbs and comes with a decent amount. $10 a gram, bags could be better, gets you really high.

Also try Wicked X, OMG. 1 hit and you will be on your ass, real talk. Strongest herbal incense you can buy after the 2010 ban 5 synthetic THC's. $20 a gram, you can order online, and comes in liquid form!

  • I went to the first Alien war when it opened in glasgow (before the London one was opened) it was pretty good and scary but then again I was a kid when I went so maybe not so scary now idk lol.

  • Beyond 2000! I remember seeing this episode as a kid. Huge fan of Alien/s - shame we never got anything like this over here.

  • The lift part was my fave! just after you would past the alien eggs

  • The look of sheer terror on their faces. They really get taken in by this, it's excellent.

  • I went on this and it did give a sense of realism like being in the movie ,I was in awe at the special effects also seeing the mother towering above you running down corridors with flashing lights and guns firing made it all very real the aliens that attacked you really give you a scare you don't expect what comes for you it was a great experience please bring it back to London ...

  • Watching this brings back fond memories as a kid. Can't believe it was almost 20 years ago. Wish it was still there.

  • i have fond memories of when this first came to london!

The trocadero is lame now! Used to be such an amazing place

  • 8 fuckin fags

  • @grabiod44 correction 9 f**kin fags

  • that is so awesome

  • this was a sweet attraction i loved it when i was a kid! best part was being in the Car getting ready to go when an alien appears in the room, you could literally hear everyone filling their pants

  • this is sooo scarey i went to the london one when i was 14,it started in london bk in 1992,they had to close it down because to many people was having fits and getting way to scared inside they would freeze,i had to ask the marine can i leave plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz HAHAAHAHAAHAH

  • @MrDancalvin1983 Bollocks. It closed because of a flood in 1996.

  • Haha I would totally try to double cross everyone to get an alien back to earth

  • This is now in blackpool known as alien attack and will be opening first weekend in june or a bit later. It is round the corner from louis tussard's wax place. ITs all being set up at the moment

  • 5:39, i started to almost believe it was really happening, that marine looked so intence and scared when he was screaming , shit looked crazy, like it was right of the film. that was acctaully some great acting, would love to went to this. they need one in every country and state.

  • THIS NEEDS TO COME BACK TO LONDON

  • I would so love to do this...Is it not closed now though? :(

  • OMG! I have never heard of this!!!!!! This would be crazy fun! Wonder how I would react lol.

  • We lost one of our group during this. A kid was pulled out of the elevator just as the doors were closing. He was never seen again.

  • Iv been wanting to launch an experience like this down here in Houston.

  • errr is that a standard colonial marine haircut o 0

  • He looks like hes gunna piss himself

  • they could involve a chestburster and someone being facehugged

  • There have been heart attacks and people fainting so a facehugger wouldn't help but it would be cool

  • Yes I agree it is great to see and i am going again.

  • I went when i was 16 which would have been 1991 and i remember it was awesome, i can still picture the alien in the elevator behind us as we had just got out of it, hahaha was so great, i'd love to go again.

  • I would travel 1000 miles for this...

  • And i would walk 100 miles and i would walk a 100 more just to see alien wars!

  • EPIC WANT

  • I went when i was in London (first time it opened) 1993 (16 years old) I went twice i love the Alien films so much that after my first experince of Alien War I wanted to go back, stay there and get chaced by the aliens all day! HAHA.

It's been well over 11 years now and I want to go back. Maybe I should get a job as acting as the marine :D

  • has anyone been to both the under 18s nd the over cos im to young to get into the over 18s one but i really want to know whats the diffrence cos the unders is pretty scary

  • I'm pretty sure you get covered in blood and stuff in the over 18's

  • Amerikaner, fuck off you yanky cunt.

  • You do realize you're on an American-based video site, correct? You do realize that Alien is an American film, right?

Before you start to hate on Americans, realize that your life is probably influenced by our country more than your own.

  • the fucking film is american but not the ride !

  • Aliens was shot in a power station in England, by an entirely English crew. The director was Canadian.

  • I listen to french house music.

    I eat all food types.

    I got to glasgow nightclubs.

I speak english which is a british language that americans speak and use in there everyday lives(even the ones that make those american movies)

Most americans are ancestors to the british.

And dont forget we also had to give practicaly the whole North of your own country back to you.

And your trying to tell me im influenced by America than i am of my own country?

  • Lol you make me laugh we're only 20% british ancestors. hahaha

We have open borders you know. Think of the Irish Rail workers, The East German refugee's from the 50's.

Think and, dude not every American is out to get you. we're not that bad, We just give stupid people more attention.

  • English is a Latin language, not British. Americans have ancestry in every corner of the world, not "mostly" any place. We have Africans, Scottish, English, Dutch, Swedish, Germans, Australians, French, indian, American Indian, etc..

  • You're more influenced by us than you realise. You're on a computer, on the internet, probably enjoy a good microwaved snack every once in awhile, drive or ride in cars, trucks, and trains, watch TV. Enjoy the use of plastic bags for garbage and storing food, electricity...etc... Dont hate Americans so much, we've given a lot more in terms of invention than most of the rest of the world realises. Dont take that the wrong way either. Im not saying America is perfect, but we're not nothing either.

  • Besides which, the Alien franchise has been a mutually shared production between American studios,British craftsmanship and a diverse cast of actors. Why are we bickering about which nation is better when BOTH are excellent places most of the time?

  • At least he doesn't type like a retard.

  • shut it

  • If you where any better you would know it's called slang, and while your at it maybe grow a pair of balls to.

  • Bigotry will get you no where.

  • lol im goin this saturday ;B its going to be so fkin amazing i bet xD

  • Same Im going :)

  • it started in the arches in 1992, then it left to tour the world (or is it just britain).

when michael jackson came to tour britain, he sent his body guards in to test the water in alien wars, and the body guards ran out half way through

  • I went tae it aswell ^_^

    Funny as Fuck! XD

  • aww mna went the arches the day was shit scared before it and mildly scared after it

  • IT IS SOOOOOOOO FUCKING FUNNY !!!

  • It's absolutly terrifying i went 2 the Arches one in Glasgow 4 my B-day yesterday with a couple of my m8z and I was scared shitless!

  • brilliant iv been 2 it

  • Absolutely AMAZING!

I will NOT STOP until I have gone through one of those.

  • ahh beyond 2000

  • I went. Single most horrifying experience of my entire life.

  • what happens in the lift then??

  • The Alien burts into the lift and kidnapps a girl

  • i went 2 the new 1. it was terrorfying.

  • I just want to know...where is the new attraction?

    Love alien movies!

  • its in Glasdgow, Scotland

  • I was at the original alien war in glasgow and I am going to it again now its reopened! I cant wait, it was so scary

  • like halo

  • I remember going through this when it originally opened in Glasgow. The best part was when the marine left everyone in a long corridor for a couple of minutes. Suddenly there was a banging from the far end and an alien appeared through the door. Everyone ran screaming to get away from the beast, only to reach a small exit at the far end, where only one person could get through at a time on their hands and knees! What a jam, with that thing lumbering towards you down the corridor! Fantastic!

  • I'm going to the Glasgow one that opens tomorrow sometime soon, will it be like this? Alien 2 scenery and marines?

I never went to the other ones in Glasgow or in other places.

  • Going on the first day on Saturday to this - can't wait!!! :D

  • same its gonna b amazin il meet u there lol

  • Yea I went when I was 13 years old with my Stepdad he was sooooo scared i was cool i love Aliens and when you first see that Alien it all brings it home to you your there your feeling this panic and dread we had the bit with the lift and it snatched this fat indian kid now this brings back childhood memories thank you.....

  • Anyway, last comment for now. If it is as good as it was in London's trocadero when it first opened, before it was all ruined because of the health and safety shit and htme removing some parts of it like Sector 3 where they come in force then I would gladly go through it many times as I did when it was in london.

One last thing. I'm glad I went toilet for a number 2 before I left home because the lift bit would have made me shat it all out when it happened.

  • Oh yeah and I know this may sound stupid but I did make a complaint simply because when they first take you in The Marine says he'll be back in a sec. What happens though is that he kicks the metal door from the outside and it swings full force in to the wall. This is where my complaint was. The 3rd time I went through it there was this kid standing right where the door would smash agaisnt the wall when the marine kicked it. Thankfully for him though I told him to move from that spot.

  • I'm going to try and hunt down the pictures I took. i remember though that in the 3rd month I think it was open when I went there there was a full size (don't know if it was the one used in the film ALiens) ALien Queen Model. And I mean full size professional job. All the detail shown in the one in the film.

I think it was £12 for children and £16 for adults. Not sure on that though.

  • The lift bit after Sector 3 all of us were told to go in the lift so we could go and escape to from a different floor. The lift stopped though and then there was banging, like thudding, on the ceiling of the lift and the marine said that they were in the lift shaft. He started tapping away at the lift console and he asked one of the guys with us to grab the lift door and pull when he presses the release button. When the lift door opened an Alien burst in and grabbed the guy. hahaha.

  • I remember going to this in the 90's at Picadily Circus. They absolutely ruined though in then because of health and safety and some poeple going in to shock.

I remember it clearly. The bits that got me the most though which for about 10 seconds convinced me it was all real was the lift bit and when in the APV.

  • Just found out its comin back! One word: AWESOME! Went to it years ago and loved it!

  • let me get this straight.. this is in scotland... aliens vs scotts... the aliens wouldn't stand a chance!

  • It's coming back to Scotland on December 6th @ the Arches. It's over 18 years ago from the original concept. Imagine how fucking good the effects will be in it now!

    Don't know about America

  • i heard this show was comming back. can anyone tell me if there will be a show in North America?

  • Update 3rd may 2006: The documentary will be finished at the end of May so stay tuned!

Update 30th January 2007: Alien War the attraction is coming back produced by the original creators John Gorman and Gary Gillies..."this time its...The World", UK, Europe, Japan and the USA.

    More news to follow!

  • I went to the one in Glasgow a couple of times, absolutely terrifying so it was.

  • wish dat was in colorado i would be so fuckin happy

  • its coming back!!! Glasgow arches!

  • This was the nuts, I was about 14 when I went in this and I shat myself lol , my brother and his friend took me there.. Funny thing was though when the lights went out and those strobes kicked in my brother was dust LOL , U felt this overwhelming surge of panic .. Fucking fantastic experience !!

  • I went to this a couple of times at the Trocadero in London back in the early 90's. We always used to go up town just to cause trouble, as you do when you are 13. As a dare instead of running away from the alien I would run straight at it and kick it. I'll tell you what, the 'Colonial Marines' were none too happy with me and gave me a right bollocking. Oh how I miss the care free days of misspent youth.

  • is that the arches? i went to this when i was 13 and shit my pants! id love to see it come back!

  • I miss this. Went a few times with my mates when it was open. The first time we went the marine actually used a blank-firing pistol, which was of course very loud. Afterwards replaced with the less-realistic sound effect system. Alien War was like a pilgrimmage to us Alien fans - great place.

Alien War, then on to the Trocadero's VR machines - how we were spoilt in the early '90s! :)

  • To attract the female public ^_^

  • I went to this as a kid. Beats any fairground ride experience I ever had.

    Shit me right up.

  • i really really wish i could go there

  • Man, Ive been in there! My dad sent me in a with a lovely english couple coz he wouldnt go in lol I had nightmares for years and always thought that alien eggs were growing in my loft! lol

Got a mug, but think I lost or broke it :(

  • this place shut down afew years ago

  • aww why?

  • that isiot long haired guy looks like fucking legolas from lord of the rings haha

  • i have one of the face hugger props from this that they sold when the thing shut down, its really detailed

  • omg i wanna go there! lol fun

  • Sweet I went to Alien War in trocadero London when I was a teenager is awsome!

  • i'll be in London in May. Anyone know where this will be located? looks awesome!!!

  • Never would I imagine a marine who looked as much as axl rose as this one does :)

I had the luck of visiting London when the Trocadero Centre was hosting Alien War, and it was the best reality-like experience I have ever had. Relly hope they'll be back so I can repeat it!

  • lol I know I thought I recognised axl rose on in there somewhere. Went there myself and really want to experience it again, My brother started running before the aliens ever showed lol, the minute the marine was panicking and shooting he was dust hahha

  • Hey people! check out my video to see one of the Colonial Marines from London Alien War! an the actors in this video are weak but there were good marines! the one in my video was the most famous one there!

  • When I was in my teens in 1996 I visited London, England for a few days with my mother and a relative. I knew that AlienWar existed somewhere in or near Piccadilly and I was determined to experience it. Sadly, even though I found the location they were closed for renovations. I never got to fulfill that wish of mine.

  • I have never been to Alien War and i think its a fantastic idea, but the actors look really weak and I think that would spoil it.

It seems as if they just keep shouting "go go go" all the time and there is no real atmosphere or tension that made the original movie what it was. I.E The silence! (that was the most frightening part).

That guy with the hippie like hair, can anyone take him for a real marine?

I hope I am wrong about this but it looks a tad bit tacky, can anyone confirm this?

  • Yeah, acting is shit but you're kid of say 14 which I was when I went to it, it was shit your pants scary trust me.

As an adult I can't say what the experience would be like with as you say kinda shoddy acting.

Anyways Alien War shut down over a decade ago.

  • Trust me, you have to experience it before u can comment mann, I was there when I was open and the atmosphere closes in on u .. The actors only add to the dread, when your there ur not in the mindset of critisising there acting skills . . thats why I love B-movies. I think real people are b-movie actors.. Sorry for the rant dude. hope u get the chance to experience it and yes the tension and the silence is there !!

  • I went at the arches in glasgow years ago, think i was 12 and it was great!!!

  • kool, perfect for disney MGM

  • What annoys me is the guys that started it were Scottish and it first came to Glasgow at the Arches in 1993. I went to it then even though I was only 11. I was too scared to go in so was dead excited to see it was coming back but they have cancelled the original date in Glasgow of October 2008 now it's only London even though the guys started it in Glasgow... unfair!!!

  • To be fair though, it is gonna have much more success in London, it's got lots of passing tourist trade. I went in the original London one years ago and it was immense. I was such a big Alien geek back then. Luckily I moved to London last september so I'm in the perfect position to experience it the second time around!!

  • I remember watching this on the Discovery Channel 10 years ago or so. I think it was called Beyond 2000 or something like that.

  • Is it still running today or no?

  • No, it closed in 1996 I think. Apparently there was a flood on the premises and it never reopened. I walked through that passage where it used to be just a few weeks ago. It was a very cool experience, and they're supposed to be opening a new one in april. Look up Alien War on Myspace. I've still got an alien war sweater I bought somewhere.

  • cool thanks

  • it starts in england in april and its also going to the us and japan but i dont know when. this is gunna rock i wanna get a job there as one of the aliens

  • oh my god - this is totally AWESOME!!! I've always wanted to go - - when I was 16, I made a special trip to London - specifically for Alien War! ... unfortunately, I arrived three DAYS after the flood --- and they were closed, never to re-open... imagine my delight at not only viewing this footage, but also realizing that ALIEN WAR IS BACK in 08!!!! rock on!!

  • I pray and thank every morning that this film isnt another Paul Anderson.

  • I loved alien war, it was seriously the scariest thing I've ever done. Bring it back to london

  • it wll come 2008 or something

  • Been there, done it and seen the Aliens face on, believe the hype..this is terrifying!

Went there in 1992 with my brother and two friends. We went in fearless and came out like our pants had expanded if you catch my drift!!! THE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE OF ANY SCI-FI FANS DREAMS...AWESOME.

  • The best thing out way back when, still talk about the near misses with the aliens to this very day!! BRING IT BACK TO LONDON!!!!

  • i heard somewhere they were going to bring it back for the new alien vs. predator movie, an alien vs. predator ride would be pretty effing cool

  • was awsome, went on it loads of times :)

  • thanks ive been looking for stuff about this attraction for YEARS! I didn't actaully go in the ride (way too young) but i was in the trocadero in early nineties and there was a big hole in the ceiling right at the top surrounded by screens. From the whole out came an alien and there were characters on the screens shooting at it. Does anyone remember this?

  • The attraction in London closed after a flood in 1996 and never reopened. It made a return between December 1999 and January 2000 in the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow.

  • they are bringing it back but adding predators in for promotion for the new AVP-R Movie released in 2007

  • damm thats cool pls pls come back...why did it close down...

  • They must re-open it, specially for those who think "jaws the ride" is scary.

  • I was quite young when I went to alien war and was soooooooo scared. They have to bring it back so I can give it another and really enjoy the experience.

  • Are they really bringing this back, I went when i was younger and it really was the ultimate experience. I hope they bring it back it was awesome :D Is there anywhere I can find out about this revival?

  • i think alien war is comming back in 2007. this time they are setting one up in america

  • fo' reals?

    Sweet

  • Oh yes, they are bringing it back after all these years. And what better way to do it, by bringing it back in time with AVP2 aswell.

If they make this Alien War as terrifying or WORSE! Then im sure going back in for more Alien Action!!! LETS ROOOOCK!!!

  • yes but, is it coming to the states?

  • Apparently it is coming to the States and also Europe. The actaul event they are gearing themselves up to do will be worldwide!

So we are all going to get a taste of the action!! Cant wait!! :O)

  • is this the Documentary they have talked about being releashed?

  • Great to see this video again, it brings back some memories!

Everyone "Stay Frosty", we are coming back soon!

    Gary Gillies. Alien War.

  • Yeah, it's coming back and they'll be building attractions around the world this time.

  • hey IceDarkness is this the documentary they have talked about on the alien War page?

That attraction is pretty brilliant!!! :D

  • No, but you can download it at AvP2Files.

  • thank you, you are really nice :) thank you

  • ehm sorry to bother you again, but was the name of the page? just avp2files?

  • i think they are going to remake it in london again

i being reading alot about alien war coming back to london in 2007

    i hope they do

  • Because of a flood, I think.

  • i went to alien war years ago and this shit the life out of me

you fill like your in the movie

it is just like the movie

why did they close it down for

    pls comment on this

  • I know what you mean, it was well and truly excellent, i was really gutted when i heard they were closing it down. Thank you icedarkness for finding/making this video, please keep a spare just incase, as i dont want alien war to be forgoten.

    lets hope its reborn.
