hansbrough is still going to win POY because he is on a 33-2 team that is no. 1 overall while beasley plays on an 11 loss team. i think beasley is a great player, but the award is "college player of the year", not the nba rookie of the year. plus hansbrough's "forced shots" always seem to go in.

It's hard to say. Their scoring and rebounding numbers are basically the same. They're totally different players. Durant is more of a perimeter player like McGrady and Beasley does work down low like Derrick Coleman and Karl Malone. Both are complete players, underrated on the defensive side.

Durant had a better supporting cast at Texas. Durant was lucky enough to play with Augustine while Beasley has to carry a less talented team on his back. You can't go wrong with either one.

yea. Durant put up ridiculous numbers last year. People said we won't see anyone have that type of season for a long long time. Well, Beasley is putting up even better numbers than Durant had!

The Sonics could end up getting the top pick. You know Durant would love to play with his buddy again. Durant and Beasley on the same team = WOW! The Sonics are moving to Ok City so they'll be moving back to the same area where they went to college.
