  • @TheWIKILEAKSforNOBEL I doubt anyone is going to get a peace prize for telling us about atomic bombs in WW2. On your channel it shows you liked the video "China creates peace prize to rival Nobel" Do you know about LIVE Organ Harvesting in China ?? Please check out BLOODY HARVEST Revised Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China @ organharvestinvestigation. net (remove space) an independent report about organ harvesting.
  • NOBEL to JULAIN ASSANGE

  • Second Chinese to win the Nobel Peace Prize! That is great news for China!

  • congratulations to freedom loving chinese people for the disident liu Xiaobo's nobel peace prize. One day China and Tibet will be free from the evil of totalitarianism, maybe not in the next 11 months or the next 11 years, but slavery and injustice cannot last forever.

  • @swordofpakistan

lol it lasted 4000 years in china dude

  • Yeah, I couldn't agree more.

Anyone who has the audacity to question a government should be shot on sight.

How dare this man question our great leaders.................HOW?????

  • Interesting Graphic at 00:00:27

    CIA 1 CARTER 0

  • The judge who sentenced him is a coward who cannot stand up to the powers that be.

He is not worthy to be in the same room as Liu Xiaobo.

  • @VChapaev

This statement from the man who has pictures of Stalin on his profile....

You're either one of the funniest people I have ever met and this is all a joke, or one of the scariest...

A death sentence for an activist asking for free elections....I'm at a loss for words

  • China is hardly a communist nation. their market is capitalist and their goverment leader's a dictator.

  • They are a form of Maoist Communism that is undergoing a change in policy. They are adopting a form of psuedo capitalism that they would like to think of as the ultimate capitalism, true, but in essence are still a one party system controlling the economics. This is communism.

  • 中国内政,草泥马戈壁西方媒体少干涉

  • the announcer spelled the man's name clumsily, making me sick of her poor

    pronunciation!

  • He should have kept his mouth shut. Who has the time to criticize the government when the economy has been doing so well? Many young people in China realize that. Keep your head down, work hard, make a lot of money. Still don't like mainland China? They can always move to Hong Kong.

  • Make a lot of money... whats the point if you' re afraid of what you type in an email.

Bottom line = if freedom of speech isn't protected, the rich are just as vulnerable as the poor when some party stooge decides he likes your mansion.

  • @rrr: LOL! So you are not afraid of what you type in, so what?! Who put the food on the dinner table?! All these ex-Soviet countries have enjoyed the "Freedom" and "Democracy" for almost 20 years now, Are they getting any better?! "Freedom of Speech" worth nothing, kiddo!

"Democracy" can't bring a better GDP, can't stop corruption, can't stop the war and killing people, even can't stop human organ harvest.

You tell me one good thing this "Freedom of Speech" and "Democracy" can do for you!

  • Oh, yes, and communism is a real winner...

Get real. If you want to live as a slave, you are more than welcome to. As far as the money goes, you don't have as much as your government would have you believe.

  • @rrr: "Communism" and "Capitalism" are two economic terminologies. "Slavery" got nothing to do with it.

"Slavery" originated in the "democractic" Western civilization at least two thousand years ago. Egyptian Giza Pyramids, Persian Persepolis and Chinese Great Wall haven't built by slaves. Cyrus the Great, the founder of the First Persian Empirew, declared the human rights chapter back in 539BC. If you want see slaves at that time, you have to go to Greece, Roman to see the slaves.

  • LMAO!

Slavery was invented by democracy? Now who's the one who needs to look up their terms?

In fact slavery has been around for millenia. Far before democracy. Why don't you read a history book that hasn't been altered by the Chinese government for a change?

  • Spoken like someone who has never experienced either one.

Alright, I'll choose having my vote actually count and not being arrested for "subversive behavior". How's that?

Guess to the people who are immigrating by the thousands out of countries like Iran and Cuba (on rafts no less), this "Freedom of Speech" and Democracy" thing must mean something.

Are you for real... or just afraid to type what you know?...I pity you.

  • @rrr: I pity you even further, kiddo. "subversive behavior" is a well defined word. Instead of sitting here and making a guess, why don't you find it in the directionary and, come back to tell us what exactly it is.

  • Hey AntiDefm

It cracks me up seeing you towing the party line. This video is about a man being thrown in prison for having the "audacity" to ask for freedom of expression, human rights, and free elections

...........and you counter by telling Canadian and myself to look up the definition of what THE CHINESE GOV IS CHARGING HIM WITH!!! =what?

The Chinese Gov CAN AND WILL charge him with anything because he is potentially "dangerous" to the leaders keeping power.

  • Well said.

This guy's been brainwshed to the extreme.

The fact remains that this video highlights a person being thrown in jail for expressing a political opinion contrary to the oppressive government he has to deal with.

There is no freedom in China.

  • It would be like Obama having one of his upcoming Rep rivals arrested on charges of "disloyalty" = I don't care what party you're on - in the US elected officials are public servants, not private dictators.

If your only defense for this dictatorship is citing their own propaganda or trying to confuse the issue with terminology, then you really are an indoctrinated fool.

It must be so galling to have to use a product of the US (Youtube) to criticize the US

  • @rrr: No country in this world allows treason. US gov't will definitely put anyone in jail if he has the connection with foreign government to try to overthrow or destabilize their country.

US/West got the well-established reputation for their destabilization activities in foreign countries, and many of these activities have been very successful.

Just see the responses from US/West, you can smell immediately that this guy is not a simple guy just walks on the street.

  • Only Chinese government and this guy know how deep the involvement of this guy with US/West government(s).

    *********

"dictatorship"?! You must be kidding yourself. US is a true totalitarian and dictatorship goverment, it is just in a "democratic elected" form. That's why George Bush could launch the bloddy invasion to Iraq and has killed 1.3 million Iraqi people since 2003. Only a totalitarian and dictator government can do this, kiddo!

  • The Chinese government doesn't need to go to Iraq. It's killing it's own citizens quite barbarically, thank you very much.

I've seen Chinese soldiers shooting innocent pilgrims in Tibet. I've listened to the citizens as they describe the atrocities.

Seems to be that China has a lot of blood on its hands too.

You can't silence the truth, pal. Keep trying.

  • "It must be so galling to have to use a product of the US (Youtube) to criticize the US"?!

YouTube is commercially established as an international platform. If YouTube wants to get all the business advantages as it could, then they should take all the side effects coming with it.

As a matter of fact, internet or "information highway" is the double edged sword and it works in both directions. US government and its NGOs should know that before they use it to destabilize other countries.

  • You really are deluded.

The US government isn't using Youtube to do anything.

This is what an entity in a free economy does all by itself.

You will learn. Probably too late, but you will learn.

  • It is the duty of every citizen to criticize their governments. This avoids the problem China has now: a corrupt leadership that uses oppression to keep the masses in line.

  • @rrr: "criticize" worths nothing, kiddo. There are great and wealthy empires come and go in human history, none of these empires counts on its citizen to criticize their government.

"Corruption" happens everywhere no matter it is "totalitarian" or "democratic".

Important is the "governance" of a government.

Do you understand what is the "governance"?!

  • "Wealthy" does not make an empire "great", child.

Actually, without criticism the society is weak. Democracy came from Greece and their empire, built on the idea of one man, one vote. In fact history is full of empires that depended on all having their say.

You argue like anyone who has been programmed would.

  • China has become #1 economic super power.

America has become #1 military super power.

Middle East has become #1 oil supply super power.

Israel has become #1 religious super power.

sadly our country has turn into socialism.

  • It makes me laugh that some people keep pointing out how evil the US is as if that's their only counter argument.

If that's the tactic, let me help you guys. The forefathers who signed the declaration of independence, faced the charge of treason under the then British law. If captured, they would be hanged, and have their guts cut out and burned in front of them. China is not doing any of these barbaric acts! Therefore China is awesome!!!

  • YOu've got to be joking. That is a blatqant lie.

British rule may hang a man for treason, but rip his guts out and burn them? LMAO!!!

You have swallowed a lot of lies, buddy. Has the Chinese government been feeding you this tripe? it would be just like them to do that.

The Chinese government is a corrupt power that needs to be challenged.

Liu Xiaobo is a good man doing the right thing.

  • You misunderstood my point. I was being sarcastic about the juvenile tactic such as "if you criticize me, I just point to America and say: look, much more evil than I am. Case closed." If this can solve all problems, then we only need to look at the greatest evil and we all can say we are living in heaven now. Also, the British punishment is called "hanged, drawn and quartered." It wasn't repealed until 1814. Yes, the human history is full of disgusting things beyond your belief.

  • ...the most disgusting of which has yet to be seen, evidently.

  • LOL! Human right activists, "international community", EU and US diplomats?! Where are these people when 1.3 million or 4.7% of total Iraqi population have perished in the American War in Iraq since 2003?! Have they found any "WMD" that they accused Iraq had?!

US Senate has just overwhelmingly passed the biggest-ever $636 billion military budget, why AP or any of these EU, US news media haven't run a report on this?!

    What a cheap brainwashing propaganda!!!

  • LOL! "sweeping political reform and end of Communist Party dominance"?! What this idiot talks about?!

Obviously this guy didn't know that no country in human history has achieved the economic growth that China has achieved in the past 30 years.

No wonder these Western news media get so excited, LOLLL!

  • DoN't be too proud of the economic boom china enjoys today.

    The bubble will burst.

  • LOL! Don't be jealous!

Remember, kids, China, only China is the last defender of Capitalism on teh earth today!

  • Lol! Now who's joking!

China is a communist state where capitalism is just starting to take root.

However, because China is so behind the times, it doesn't realize yet that capitalism is going the way of communism too.

Both are dying. Don't believe me? Watch over the next thirty years.

  • @rrr: Why don't you wiki the definitions of "Capitalism" and "Communism". Don't get confused and misuse these two economic terminologies.

Over 80% of China's GDP are in the private sectors now. All the academics consider China capitalist and all agree that China is the best capitalist country and the last defender of "capitalism" on earth today.

For example, "Free Trade" is the corner stone of the capitalism. No counntry in the world today defends the "free trade" as hard as China does.

  • Cite your sources. If any of them are "Nationally endorsed" by the country of China your numbers are suspect.

Your argument is pointless. This video shows a man condemned for speaking his mind. That would not happen in Canada, the US or Britain.

    You fail. Period.

(You can keep spreading lies about my country's history all you want, but the only people to believe you are the pawns of the Chinese government.)

  • on the backs of the bruised

  • Obama, where are you???

They will execute this dissident unless Obama steps up.

    Obama, where are you?

Communism will be defeated, come on Obama now is your time.

  • By the way, the cops would have likely beat down the crowd with clubs, horses, tear gas, tasers, and sound cannons if that trial were here in the USA.

  • @Kerrville911Truth

What? In china, the crowd would be swept up and put in a forced labor camp.

If you really do live in the US, you have no idea how lucky you are

  • wtf no one can fuck with china. no one can tell china what to do and how to run their country. fuck obama and all u bitches should not interfer with the affairs of other countries. thats what makes americans hated around the world

  • Oh, believe me, the Chinese government is hated too.

  • There is no democracy if the people is blind. The only differences here in the US is that the government actually can afford to spend billions and billions on propaganda. And that they don't have any big instability problem.

  • democracy apes lol

  • Another example why America is the greatest country in the world

  • america is the "greatest" country in the world? LMAO! erm...guns, gangs, stupid ppl, obesity, mcdonalds, largest prisoner population on earth, bush....

  • I would rather live in America than China if I had to choose betweeen the two of them.

Don't throw stones in a glass house, pal.

  • More of a show trail.

  • Free Bo

    Free Bhot

    Free Both..........

  • If China gets away with this(again), it will be another victory for would be tyrants everywhere.

  • its a shame how Bush is still not hanged for his war crimes dont u think?

  • Its a shame any communist leader isn't executed for their crimes against humanity

  • do u know why america is the most hated country on earth?

  • Because they're the best. The same reason The Lakers are the most hated NBA team and USC is the most hated College Football team...China is 1000 times worse than the USA in every way...but since China isn't quite the Superpower that the USA is (their military is still a decade or two behind) the USA is still in the limelight. Anyway, no matter what anyone says about the USA, people are still clawing and cratching and dying to get a dance to live there. No one is doing that for China!

  • yes america are the best....at invading countries and bombing women and children. well done america proved how much of a pussy country they are. US is the worst country on earth. thats why they are only well known for their hypocricy and double standards. US still in the limelight? HA! yea becuz u are shrinking and china is growing strong so fast. china owns US like a dog on a leash. fuckin US = the land of guns and gangs

  • @hcn9

Hypocrisy is spelled with an s not a c, shit- for-brains.

Why do so many immigrate to the US then? I really don't see China as a model of heterogeneity. ...must be the whole, "getting jailed for subversive speech" thing.

China = The land of corruption, nepotism, and communist stooges

  • @hcn9

Probably because no one in China is allowed to say they hate it....hahah zing!

  • Yeah, we take for granted the freedoms we have in the west sometimes.

China has been ruled by an oppressive force for decades now. Their time of power is waning, however. Speech and the freedom of ideas cannot be entirely supressed as the Chinese government would like to think.

They'd better wake up or there will be a real problem in the future.

  • Not saying China is any better, China is far worse, but corporate slavery is the norm. Alberta tar sands are a treeless wasteland the size of two englands that can be seen from space. Add to that the destruction of old growth forests, barbaric wildlife massacres, such as caribou and seals. Harper flew to Europe to beg them to let him continue the most savage cruel and bloody wildlife slaughter ever seen on harp seals. Like China, Canada is a corporate socialism with corrupt ministers.

  • Lol, if that's the best you can do...

  • As a Canadian, I have to say that America isn't the most hated country on Earth. I think that distinction lies with North Korea, Iran, China in descending order.

That is, if you believe international polls, but I'm sure you'll just detract from common opinion and label it as propoganda. (That is what followers of a failed enterprise do..)

  • Comment removed

  • Canada is also pretty much hated. Harper is a dictator and a Bush clone. Bush was his idol. Harper is a warmonger and environmental terrorist. He and his clones were in Bali trying to sabatoge the climate change talks, just like China tries to sabatoge them this time around. Harper is constantly trying to push the dirtiest oil in the world on other countries, Alberta tar sands. He is a warmonger who drools at killing children in Afghan & maintains Canada as of the top arms dealers in the world.

  • That's your opinion, and like it matters to me.

You are obviously a pawn of the Chinese government I oppose.

Keep lying, it only hurts you, foolish one.

  • Actually I think China is one of the worst and worse than Canada on environment so I'm no pawn, but obviously I'm not fond of Canada :)

  • Well I love my country.

It isn't perfect, but in my country I have the right to voice my opinion on how it is to be changed.

That is, in effect, what this video is all about.

  • @Canadian: Whether to love you country is your own problem, no one told you not to even Canada has pretty bad reputation on human rights.

Since the British colonial period, Canadians, as called today, haven't know what exactly is the human rights. Examples are plenty, you should know it if you are a Canadian.

  • Oh, sure...

Canadians are known throughout the world as executing their own all the time.

Check your facts... oh, wait, you already know the facts but are reluctant to actually admit them.

China still executes more people per year for political and religious differences with their government than any other nation on Earth.

You keep spewing out this idiotic propoganda from a corrupt power to prove how much of a pawn you really are.

  • BTW, you did know that Chinese soldier kill defenseless religious pilgrims, yes?

You should know this if you are Chinese...

  • Sorry, I am not a Chinses. You don't need to be a Chinese to question these US/West propaganda. Have you heard that "Chinese eat babies"?! How about Canadians eat babies?! Do you believe that?! LOLLLL!

  • No, actually, I don't believe it. In fact I don't believe a lot of things. This is what happens when you are brought up to question people, organisations and governments.

    It keeps you free.

  • You say you are not Chinese (and I notice on your profile that you promote free speech.)

Yet, you ignore the Chinese propoganda in favour of attacking the West?

This is hardly the multipolar world you claim to support.

The fact remains that China has blatently disregarded human right for years. It will eventually come back and bite them on the backside.

In your profile you say you promote a multipolar world. However, I question whether or not you would promote a free thinking one.

  • @CanadianoftheCoast

    Very well said.

  • Thank you. You've made some pretty good comments yourself.

  • ...anyway all this debate is pointless.

China will eventually self destruct as the U.S.S.R. did. It has four or five provinces wanting to separate, yet instead of listening to them, they choose to oppress them.

Sooner or later these injustices will tear the country apart.

I don't need to make any more arguments and neither do you. Time will tell.

  • You don't need to feed me any cheap US/West propaganda here. If you want to see the "self destruct", you'd better go to US to see it, because it is hapening at this very moment, LOL!

Again, China is the country has achieved the economic growth that no other country in this world has achieved before. China is the best capitalist country and the last capitalism defend on earth today. Admit it, pal, US/West have lost in their own capitalist game.

  • @AntiDefm

I've been to China - Maybe you should come to the US

  • That would ruin his delusions.

  • Admit what? Japan experienced the same boom in the 1960's.

You've obviously never heard of the concept of boom and bust, so I'm not going to explain it to you.

    Read a book instead.

  • wots wrong with u antidefm,, y r u defending china like those mentally dominated chinese?? r u just training ur debating skills?? i tell u, my biggest shame is to hv been born a chinese, i would rather regard myself a hong konger when asked.

  • ..or just plain removed from power.

That too, will happen. Freedom cannot be supressed forever.

  • @hcn9 its a shame that Kon670am didn't beat some god damn sense into a little punk assed chink like you.

  • Well said..

This is a perfect example of despots crushing even the slightest hint of dissent. If china truly is the greatest country, why fear the criticism? As a cuban American I can tell you these "trials" are a joke
