As being a massive u2 fan since the age of 15, I have always fully respected Micheal Stipes and Rem. Rem have always put so much in their art of their sound and a very talented band. I think Micheal stipes doesn't really know how good Rem are! No band can deliver, such deep expressive sound like REM, leaving you feeling fresh!

The only thing that kills me about this video are the dozens of people standing there for a performance I'd kill to see and they look like they've never even heard of R.E.M.

My 5 year old asked me today why the songs don't make any sense. The words don't fit together, but she likes the music. (it's like the first time I heard Murmur!) I said, give it time, they'll make sense one day.  Great performance!
