  • Jim and Patsy never recorded together. Their voices were combined electronically. ACC's #91 song of '82. God bles ya, for postin' it. Thanx! RIP, Jim and Patsy.

  • Wonderful!!!

  • They just don't make this anymore!

  • How buitifull music can be.

  • Best country duet of all time, the two most beautiful voices in the genre. The Antiguans knew of Jim Reeves and admired his work, I returned the compliment by introducing Patsy to the Guyanese at work, they went berserk ,,everybody love Patsy.

  • they sound beautiful together. they shouldn't have waited until they were both dead before doing a duet together. :) either way classic

  • What a fantastic duet they were made for each other, the voices harmonise perfectly.R.I.P.Jim & Patsy.

  • Thank you, the beautiful harmony a bit like the quality of Abba but better somehow

  • love this thanks so much 4 posting

  • what is really sad, they never sang together...RCA made this song , they won country duel award, and they were both dead.......what they would have done together....

  • Best duet ever done!

  • How ironic that they both died in plane crashes within about a year from each other.

Country will never replace either one.

  • @billchew450 I don't wish to appear pedantic but Patsy died 5th, March 1963 and Jim died 31st.July 1964 almost 17 months apart. Just setting the record straight they should never be forgotten.

  • Outstanding duo...thanks for sharing some "real country "

  • Awesome!!! Love it!!

    Thanks a lot for pleasure.

  • Two of the three top voices in the history of County (yours is the 3rd, after enough beers, right?). These two never recorded together. Patsy dubbed over Jim's recording after he died and their voice were blended in the recording studio, much to the Greater Good of All. I do believe we could all listen to them forever. Thanks, Stolta, for uploading this!

  • @FLSHBK1

    Hi Darling!

Please explain to me what is beer? About alcohol? Listen ... I never drink alcohol because I need to clear mind at work as well on YouTube, this may or that I could never allow me. Your explanation is excellent, but the others I suppose almost as outrageous insult. Beware, with the young horses! Since I'm sensitive.

  • @Stoltapaura Oh! Ich habe nicht die Absicht zu beleidigen! Wir sind alle Freunde hier! Ich meine, jeder Mensch denkt, er singt besser, wenn er zuviel trinkt. Amerikanischen Humor ~ es tut mir leid.

  • @FLSHBK1

You mustn't excuse. You're very important to me because you're honest, and this is also my own temperament. You're right, when I had my first time on stage, I reconsidered "drown" my stage fright. The story was an embarrassing laughing stock, ergo I'm fucked up and that should never happen again. But only one thing:be always yourself, honest and sincere ... then we will pull together around the houses.

I hope to see you again.

  • @FLSHBK1 Can you explain how Patsy dubbed over Jim's recording after he died?, She died almost 17 months before him! To the best of my knowledge the mixing and dubbing was done by technicians after they had BOTH died. (It would have been possible for Jim to dub over Patsy's recordings - but not the other way)

  • @DelTangBrav DTB, You are absolutely correct! I realized my mistake after I had posted it in reverse, but You Tube won't let me correct my entry. Tango Yankee for the correction.

  • Love this song my grandma used to play this in the car years ago!

  • Thanks for the post GREAT ..

  • Lovely. Thank you.
