  • why the guitarist(the tall one) is always so calm???:P

  • Cool song

  • The people that "dislike" this are probably just mad that they WEREN'T there!!!!

  • :'( aaron u.u'

  • Does anyone else remember when the official video for this was on MTV and Fuse? It was on both for forever and I woke up every morning and saw it before I went to school. Good times.

  • They are obviously really tired on this performance, Survive Kalidescope was so much better.

  • @xdustinpattonx You can't even compare a live cd to a studio album. This argument is retarded.

  • Right the fuck on!!!

  • my,space,bar,is,broken,yeah,true,that,RyanLikesTool,they,are,two,different,styles,of,screaming,and,im,not,even,sure,if,u,can,compare,dallas,to,screaming,anymore,Maylene,one,of,my,favorite,bands,and,thats,the,same,for,aaron,he,left,the,band,being,a,total,beast,and,made,another,band,thats,a,different,style,but,still,really,good

  • Spencer isn't better than Dallas and Dallas isn't better than Spencer.

Obviously Dallas was meant for a different sounding band.

That's why he's in Maylene and the Sons of Disaster now, still kicking arse.

Don't compare two very different vocalists.

  • @RyanLikesTool amen I'ts been like 8 years. let it go people.

  • Spencer isnt very good sounding in this video, but when i saw them at that same venue last year, he was incredible. Best vocalist for Underoath. Dallas Taylor is magnificent in Maylene, aswell. Both are great. : ). Both really nice dudes. as far as Aaron, amazing drummer, great person, nothing compares to Define The Great Line, and Lost in The Sound, but the new album is sick on so many different levels.

  • he looks so blooody D:

  • this,band,isnt,as,good,without,aaron,in,it,but,i,still,like,them,but,i,like,the,almost,better

  • @2009Murderface why,do,you,type,like,this

  • Dudley's shirt says "High Voltage Heavy Metal" XD

  • Aaron's singing was good but Spencer's cleans are far more amazing on Disambiguation. The new album is musically the strongest thing they've released in my opinion. The new drummer kicks ass too. :)

  • I never saw Spencer as the face of the band. It's always Spencer AND Aaron that are the powerhouses behind underoath and missing one just sort of feels off. And pop sensibility means the cleans but also not the heavy downtuned guitars of disambig.

  • I miss aron too D:

  • The only thing I miss about aaron is the vocals.. I mean yeah he is an amazing drummer but you can replace drummers easily. But his vocals were nasty as hell (:

  • @insanedrummer13 Have to agree :D

  • this is my favorite version

  • he is really sweaty lol

  • Listen to intohimo is really a good band as Underoath. They last album Us the hollows also got some christian references

  • @TBSunday92, I saw them recently on February 18th and I personally thought that they killed it at that show, like my mind has never been so blown before! It was fuckin insane!! But I know we're all entitled to our own opinions so if you think they played better Aaron that's cool. Aaron was a nasty drummer but idk I think I'm feelin the new drummer better, but that could be just me lol none of that probably makes sense... Fuck -_-

  • i love the guitar intro strumming the chords

  • ahh 2:20 is sex

  • i just think it's blatantly taking the lord's name in vain

  • @McBirdec Jesus was a fag. Get over it lol. But yeah go Underoath!!

  • @McBirdec it's not in vain though, it's in desperation and agony. they're calling to Him so that He can help them. it's like an address, instead of sincerely, "Oh dear sir" or "Oh my loving mother", its "oh my God", the literal meaning.

  • i don't get how they are christian but often take the lord's name in vain

  • @McBirdec they're calling out to him; that's not a sin.

  • @enforcer13 uhh do you go to church?

  • @McBirdec not regularly. I do go to a catholic school though. what's your point?

  • i dont think underoath will ever put on a show quite as good as this era of the band again without aaron. disambiguation was great but without the pop sensibility underoath loses a lot of what made it special. just my 2 cents

  • @TBSunday92 i just started listening to them but when you say pop sensibility do you mean the clean vocals, because thats why i love TOCS, because it has more clean vocals, it kind of reminds me o a day to remember

  • @krystendipiero03 wht are you saying? jesus is knocking, :/

  • is his guitar string backwards

  • that was raw man, im tellin you. :)

  • God I never got to see them when they had Aaron on drums. Now they sound exactly like Norma Jean with Daniel Davison. UGH. I'll never get to see this. :[

  • hahahahaha sounds like all of them are losing there voices here....still awesome!

  • "OH GOD SAVE US ALL" Awesome :)

  • :] at 2:55

  • BAHAHAHAH the keyboard dude at 1:07 makes me laugh so much. Gets so into it.

  • i miss aaron :/ spencer is a good singer though.

  • Aaron My favorite drummer of all time.

  • omg.... o.o

  • I love Underoath soo damn much. 4:22 "Oh My God!"

  • <3 spee n aaron

  • I miss aaron :'(

  • man i love aaron gillespie and spencer.. best song writers ever. their lyrics are so genius.

  • aaron is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i can't believe that

    noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    please comeback :(

  • who left the band ??

  • @sam0BlackxR0sexDying Aaron, the drummer/clean vocalist

  • aaron :(

  • no more aaron ><</333

    :'(

    bummmer.

  • @Dieahhhnuh

    :(

Oath will never be the same again :(

I really wanted to see Aaron and Oath together live :/

  • UnderOath!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this band.

  • <33333333

    aaron's gone though :(

  • 2:56 - 3:02 I dont think Aaron realized the level of awesomeness he hit when he changed the melody of the song! total beast......and its gonna take 3 ppl to do what he did in this band...its gonna take the skill of 2 drummers an 1 awesome singer...im gonna miss him:(

  • i love his green mic lol

  • @jeffmcaraturnbull Thats tape. Haha.

  • too bad aaron left :(

  • this band is fucking amazing ... Hopefully they get to come up here (canada)

  • every time i see aron drum, it makes me want to play my kit. Such an inspiration

  • Man I love when Aaron sings " You're almost gone and i'm okay..., to give you time to, be afraid. " !!! I love his voice so much, and hes the best drummer ever, Aaron is a music God!!!

  • i'll never be able to find the words on how much i love this band. <3

  • Aaron left... sniff

  • AAAARROOOOOOONNNN

  • @froggyoathwearsprada noooooooooooo

  • SO LEGIT!

  • 1:50!!!. I love that yell on the album that Aaron does in the background, and I finally found a vid where they do it live.

Granted, Tim yells it here, but it's just as badass. I've watched dozens of performances on here, and seen them live 4 times and this is the first time they've done it.

  • @FilthySICness13 its tim that does it on the album

  • you silly metal people with your silly genres and sub genres and sub-sub genres

    it's music...

  • Metal is like, Iron Maiden or Metallica. This is either Metalcore or Post-Hardcore but defintly NOT screamo. I freakin hate when people call hardcore music, screamo.

  • just drenched in sweat nice.

  • ''and when are you gonna come down? im sick of askin you'' just an awesome perfomance for the fans, would have been a great show to be at

  • damn that's fuckin awesome!

  • 4:21 epic!!! Oh my god!!!

  • 2:42 was that octavio?

  • Grant. lol

  • spencer is SOOOOO much better then Dallas

  • @W4RMACH1N3 I like Dallas way better... well i like Dallas's screaming. but i like spencers singing..

  • @W4RMACH1N3 false

  • @W4RMACH1N3 Thank you captain obvious! :P

  • @W4RMACH1N3 dallas green? i like both.

  • @geochaosakanick dallas taylor, dumbass.

  • @W4RMACH1N3 honestly, I wouldnt in any way compare them. there both extremely talented and different. putting one down because "you" like the other is wrong. i think there both amazing :-)

  • @Starsquish everyone has there own opinion so there you go.

  • idk why everyones hating on underoath. people are saying they dont make a lot of money, but who cares??? kno who makes a lot of money? greenday, beyonce, lil wayne and they all blow asshole and dont deserve the millions they have. Aaron is one of the most talented singers ive ever heard and he drums while he does it. even if youre not a fan of the genre, shut hte fuck up cuz these guys are talented as hell

  • yes, underoath are huge on the underground scene, and yes, they've had worldwide tours, but honestly they don't make a lot of money.

unless you're working for a major label record company, you're not going to make a lot of money. half of the money UO makes goes back into buying merch, equipment, gas etc.

    still a great band nonetheless.

  • chiodos 236 they arent touring out of the van anymore...the label is paying for the tour bus, the gas, their new equipment, everything. Each member of the band probably makes a couple hundred thousand dollars a year when touring. they rock less and less every album but youre right, underoath is a gerat band

  • where do you think their record label gets money for all of that? the money they make from tours, cds, merch, etc.

    just say they make 5000$ a night, on a 30 day tour. that's 150,000$,

but you have to remember in most places, gas is 3.00$+ per gallon, and their tour bus probably gets like 20mpg, with a 50 gallon tank, depending on where each show is, they could have to fill their entire tank up daily.

that's at least 50,000$ right there.

  • the money they make IS from tours, cds, merch, etc.*

  • couple hundred thousand a year, r u serious? theyre not metallica, sure they make money but theres noooo way they bring in more than 100,000 a year for each member.

  • it wouldnt suprise me.. theyve had multiple platinum and gold albums

  • isn't underoath metalcore?

  • my favorite band

  • i love the way he yells oh my god.

  • 2:55 to 3:01 is absolutely amazing...

and these guys are so tired too.

  • these guys bleed genius.

  • @drummiebear tell them to leave their belief out of it when you make millions upon millions doing what you love...ignorant shit

  • buddy. underoath is not making millions. they are not that rich.

  • @drummiebear yeah...invited to play main stage prime time every year at warped is awful and doesnt pay at all, not to mention they cant be popular, I mean they're only launching a world tour at the end of the month and going to landmark stadiums to play. But you're right, sometimes they don't even make enough money to pay for food for a day.

  • i didnt say they couldnt pay for food, i said they werent that rich. not they didnt make money. but now that i know you're such a devout christian. im laughing at you

  • ten WHY are you listening to a christian rock band? and its the same as when green day makes TWO albums bitching about bush, or when springstein bitches about politics onstage. shut the fuck up.

  • @drummiebear

Shut the fuck up, they are a Christian metal band. what the hell else are they going to talk about? fucking cookies?

  • they're not metal

  • i'm with you! i think they're properly post hardcore.

right? they're under a lot of different influences.

    btw this is not metal!

  • @FinchNate90

    agreeed!!

I heard them say one time that they hate metal.

  • @hodowncorexxx there rock

  • They are metalcore. they are marketed that way. That's what they say they are. thats what ever magazine says they are. so thats what they are.

  • idk if you fuck cookies in your spare time, but dont try to come across to me like a hardass, seriously. you're a christian music fan.. and most likely straight edge, METALdoesnt like your kind of people hanging around

  • god, i hate metalheads so much. you douches take it upon yourselves to judge everything that isn't slayer and fucking pantera. get off your high horse and live in the real goddamn world. no one gives a shit about who you want hanging around. quite frankly, no one wants to hang around you anyways. take a fucking shower and buy some new pants. i hear hot topic is having a 50% off sale on bondage again. It's right by the discounted Twilight merch.

  • first off, pantera can suck my dick, second of all, im a fuckin music ed major at ohio university, so don't tell me shit about what ur opinion might be on music. cause you dont know shit. so fuck off. and i buy my clothes from wherever. you emo fuck, gtfo

  • thank you for shuting blackdaisyx the hell up because metal or hardcore post hardcore or whatever people label underoath under is a great genre so many great bands like, Alexisonfire, Blessthefall, A Day to Remember, Underoath, Agraceful, and so so so much more

  • You're in college? You act like a little high school boy...

  • yup thats me. a little high school boy

  • music ed major at ohio university? ... with that attitude you'll never get anywhere... keep insulting people who have like underoath, it might make ya feel better =) ... by the way, the best musicians in the world never studied music, so the fact that you did doesn't mean shit, you as a person prove that you suck at speaking so YOUR opinions will never get anywhere either. lol

  • @drummiebear AAAAAHAHAHAHAHA music major??? you think that gives credibility? well, guess what? i work at the fucking bong store in town so i OBVIOUSLY know more about smoking weed than you.

Now, that sounded retarded, right? Now you know what your comment looked like to me.

Please write me a reply. I'm more than excited to see your other justifications for what makes you so great.

  • @drummiebear ur look very tough dude really ! talking shit like that across youtube really u look tough

  • wow this is great i woul like scramo but i cant xd

  • wow great screaming and singing haha thats pretty rare for bands like this

  • his voice is just tired

  • i hope your not saying this after only watching one live video of their's or even without going too one of their concerts.

  • @Johnnyxtsunami dude they prob did so many other songs before that hes prob tired..considering he scream in almost all their songs...i bet ull be tired too. go try and do wat he do and tell me how u feel after it

  • I LOVE THEM LIVE. amazingness... i need to go to one of their concerts.

  • the crowd loves a band with energy more than a band who sits there bored focusing so much on their sound. Underoath has energy, therefor the croud loves them.

  • ah whatever man. you very well could be. not looking for a fight or anything. god bless.

  • i like their music but a lot of the bands in this genre, they overreact too much which causes them to play badly live.

  • @basssungwoo that's part of what makes these bands so good live..the energy, they put on a show, they have real stage presence. no one wants to go to a gig to find the band standing on the spot looking bored out of their minds.

  • Sounding good is wayy better effective than sounding bad and moving around.

  • i'd actually rather have a band that has fun on stage and make a few errors than a band that just plays song after song without talking to the fans

  • um thats not how he got blind he was born blind.

  • "When are you gonna come down? I'm sick of asking you." Gave me goosebumps.

  • I'm going to see them tomorrow for the first time & I've loved them for like 5 or 6 years now <3333 Excited out of my mind! They're amazing!!

  • musically speaking..that statement is a joke. he was a horrible vocalist. especially live.

  • look at how tierd and sweaty he is when i went to see them he was perfect but near the end of the show he gets more sloppy

  • its called being human and getting tired.

  • hahah. that maybe explains why i laughed when i read it.

  • hmm.... not sure bout that one

  • UnderOath is unstoppable!!!!!!!!!

  • i love the intro play in..while spencer is talking..its so soothing..and i dont know..just awesome.

  • man i was ONE OF THOSE EARLY BIRDS

  • epic

  • They sound GREAT live!

  • the keyboarder is AWESOME

  • and I got hos autougraph at warped tour!

  • they all signed my tit seriously. no homo but

  • hes actually a synthesizer, but he is indeed the shit. favorite part of every underoath concert

  • they're disgustingly talented. :} and how aaron sings and drums, i have no idea, but its awesome. hahah. i love em :))

  • so amazing, <333

  • epic performance!

  • i think tim is like a back up singer, or a echo hahaha. and at 3:19 i think he says I remember your presence.

  • does Tim scream or sing? I've been sort of confused about this.

  • What is he saying at 3:19?

  • hes saying...my lost friend.

  • EUA: Underoath me are the best! There's no comparison! they are a force Christian without Limits

Brasil: Underoath pra mim são os melhores! nao existe comparação! eles são uma força Cristã sem Limites.

  • 4:22 ¡Oh My God!!!!!!!!

  • why would you feel bad for aaron?

  • amazing : )

  • It's amazing how much these guys have improved since this show. Their shows just seem so much tighter than this now.

  • woah, i heard double bass at 2:20.

    rare.

  • lol good call like a split second machine gun i didnt even know he has a double pedal lmao

  • yeah i know i was told he doesn't use them anymore. i guess this is just an older video or something.

  • lno he still uses it. how would he play moving for the sake of motion? but yea he def still has it he just dosent use it as much as he used to.

  • your gay now

  • they dont sound too great on this, but i bought the "survive kaleidoscope" dvd and oh man, they sound 10 times better, they improved aton, underoath is the best!

  • Underoath!
