@Traceguy Maybe its not F2p (unless the forums said it is, i dont read them) and its just a taunt to make the F2p comunity to become members. Keep in mind that there are people from Relleka (members ONLY area) guarding the entrance. I dont thing its F2p imo.

I know what it is, its the new godwars dungeon entrance for zaros or another god. Notice how there is a pool in the center of the castle? Remember when there was that new door in gwd that nobody could get in, there was a water area behind it? Maybe you go down through the pool to get to the new area. Also note that the castle is close to gwd, if u go under it, it leads to the new underwater area in gwd. It all makes sense if you put all the pieces together. ftw

it's related to the new mist because when it turned you you faced toward this. I think Zaros is returning. The tents are his soilders. He is in the castle. Another God War in which we fight?

I think this will be a follow up quest to "While Guthix Sleeps" if you guys remember at the end it showed Dragonkin in some sort of stoney room, which could be in this castle.If that is not correct the I believe it has to do with the new skill.

KK, what i think that Jajex is going to make a lot of hidden updates like this. First they gave this one, that was really easy to spot. So they want us to keep an eye on the castle, right?

So they can release small hidden updates.

What i think we should do is keep an eye on the castle, and while we do that have our other eye looking for small updates. -Ulises

jagex has an appalling lack of religious freedom. apart from Hezeel cult I cant find a Zamorak quest. on one hand were helping saradomin "triumph over evil" and then we're resurrecting zaros. hmph (regicide doesn't count, we thought we were helping sara.)

I believe that on a Thursday, some sort of big quest will come out involving that. Antagonist theories: A: Mother Mallum. In Witchaven, the citizens talk about something like "She's coming!" Or something along those lines. B) Zaros. His fortress is supossed to be in the wilderness and since the temple quest he;s made more contact. C) Lucien. The Mist could represent a new powerful god item that he'll be after. D) Something elf related (the Seren Box) E) Something even we can't comprehend.

if you look closely at flags you can see snakes on top. This is very important! Snakes are always the symbol of evil!! (ex: adam and eve). Evil god in runescape = zaros

no zaros isn't evil, and there is a chest with a seren logo in there.

And Zaros was never said to be the evil god. He is the "Empty God".

Very cool. Saw it myself. Tents are blue, green, red and purple like Saradomin, Zammorak, Guthix and Zaros. Guards outside refer to the strange power and their names in sweedish mean "Thursday" and "Battle".

Looking foward to this update.

You can see a logo of the elf god Seren on a chest via the Orb of Occulus. Also to the bottom right of the castle looking it it on the world map, there seems to be some sort of barge type dock. Hopefully something to do with a new boat ride to different places.
