Thrill the World San Francisco 2008

Thrill the World 2009 is October 24th, at 5:30pm Pacific. Anyone have info about San Francisco this year? It is off the radar again so far...

There is no SF event this year. You'll have to go to Oakland or Alamdea or somewhere else.

Instead, Sausalito, Oakland, San Jose...

I will go to Sausalito. Hope that many of you will go there! We are only 20 people who registered there so far.

I helped organize the L.A. event with Ines and I was a little pissed that my sister in S.F. had no idea about this one in GG Park. She went to the Dolores Park one last year and only discovered that S.F. did it this year 2 days after the fact.

Agreed. It was super disorganized as far as no one in charge getting the word out. NEXT year your sister can dance her zombie heart out!

wow, and you know what would have been even more awesome? is if the organizers had bothered to post ANYWHERE (squidlist, craigslist, yelp, etc) that it was taking place at GGpark. cuz it certainly didn't happen at dolores park where it was last year. my zombie pal and i were all dressed up with no one to dance with. and the email that we sent to the organizer's address listed on the TTW website did not get a reply. it was a bummer.

next year, please advertise where this will take place. thanks.

Yes! I totally understand. I didn't get a reply from the organizer either. We almost went to Dolores park, but my friend ran into the organizers Friday night and got the info and I got an email with a change of plans from him at 4:30AM, so it was a close call.

Someone else is doing it next year (who was also pissed about the lack of organization) so I know that she will do a kickass job and make it larger and communicate what is actually going on.
