Great review you covered everything and could hear your voice clearly , unlike most videos which the background noise drowns there voice out. May i add the makers of savage 2 has updated since then and there are more features to free to play players.

I can't stand this game, I find it so annoying because communication with your teammates is really difficult and the minimap makes no sense to me. I played the tutorial and it was never explained in detail.

you, my friend, are probably a stubborn person who doesnt pay attention. it explains the game in awesome detail throughout gameplay, thus reducing an extremely long tutorial

actually, while the Tutorial was ok..it actually doesn't explain nearly as much as it should. It gives you basics and throws you to the wolves after.

Or each time you join a server / die you have to start all over again with everything on 0 ?

Yeah they go back to 0 back when you join or start a new game. The stats you gain through and level in game is based on that game only until it ends.

Yeah I was gonna say this must be a really old version, it takes like 10-20 seconds to load a map on my not even top of the line PC. My only big complaint is using Alt+number keys to use ur items. I just think there must be a better way, it leads to finger contortions sometimes. And no more 5 hours free, now it's ulimited. :D

you can olso use the numpad for using items or you can rebind the items to whatever keys you prefer.

k well i guess i should say, since this review they have upgraded it significantly the free accnt have more options now but the prime is worth it, amazing PvP game if you like a game that actually takes skill...unlike your basic mmos. Wow,Warhammer, and whatever else is target and click based, its a great game which takes skill to be good at

I also noted that I haven't seen summoner. Conjurer, but it is pretty crappy, has 1 summon move that summons an immobile plant that attacks.

It wasn't that choppy when I played it. It looks a little choppy in the video because when I record game footage and play games on my computer at the same time, the framerate tends to suffer.

Loading time is only long the first time. When the server switches map, or you switch server, you will load much faster.

Nice review. Hopefully the influx of media exposure and the steam release will net the game a large healthy community. I really like savage 2 but it's one of those games that needs a lot of good players playing in order to be really amazing.

The HUD is similar in appearance to that in WoW except for when you switch to ranged attacks where is becomes first-person. Unfortunately while in third-person view, you can't zoom the camera out as much as in WoW.
