The rangers said that during the winter,

the Logan's Pass visitor Center can be COMPLETELY buried by snow.

I was there about three times, albeit about 20 years ago.

I miss it a lot, as the state I live in is far from Glacier,

far east.

Nice video . But, these people are always talking about the Glacier disappearing. My dad said they were worried about this 32 years ago and said the Glacier would disappear by now. Nope. It's still here.

WE just got back from our 2nd trip to Glacier NP and it was just as awesome as the first trip 2 years ago... we camped at Emory Bay over on Hungrey Horse Resevoir.... going to the sun road.... awesome baby....

i rode this on a bicycle back in '97 from the east side. that nine mile uphill was brutal but coasting down the western side was the best thing ever :)

when the road opens is based on when they clear the snow. this can be in June or in July. go to thier web site google glacier national park there you will find live web cams and a link to current road conditions and plowing locations. I check the site every day
