  • For those who don't know...an artist died there years ago in that studio. Some say overdose, some say exhaustion but nevertheless she died there...that "orb" may be her ghost. It just goes to show that there is life after life itself.

  • WAS THAT AN ORB@ 6:00

  • hmmmm bad audio ironically.....

  • very nice presentation. I am new to Reason 5 and Record and I'm a babe in the woodsbut I love this software.

  • You know...for a studio professional & website that you have...you did a poor job at mixing or mastering the volume in this video. I have my equipment halfway up & I can barely hear you...

  • i was looking for tips but instead i am now scared of my studio due to that slight GHOST problem you have

  • nice tuit......and you need to move from that spot, your place is HAUNTED......lmao

  • you lay down the law for propellerhead yes indeed. I will try some of those tricks. I love Propellerhead softwares it really changed my life around. My different instruments i have with Reason 5 and Reason Record man it rocks. I have 2 mackie mr5 studio monitors and my macbook and oxygen 8 v2 15 keyboard. I just upgraded my keyboard to a alesis Q49 i love my little set up with my 24 inch asus monitor so i could see my work flow bigger. Check out on youtube piranhas eating shrimp. fortgreene31

  • Ohhhh i get it

Reason 5 is so good the spirits of the dead came to check out the top 5 features too. that explains the orbs

  • I saw another video on youtube he said pro tools is the industry standard meaning the most commonly used software. is Reason 5 any better than Pro Tools or just as good as Pro tools?

  • @CshinFrDaPshin Well R5 and PTools are two completely different animals.R5 is a sampler/sequencer prog and PT is a multi-track audio recorder(And while Reason is capable of recording and Protools is capable of sequencing stuff what most people would do is run Reason through ProTools so that Reason plays the samples but ProTools records the result)

If you must have just one or the other then you'll be better off with R5 for mostly electronic music and PT for Guitar/Bass/Drums/Vc type stuff.

  • Hello I'm new to making music, a total newbie, I already got me some software but it seems in many videos I see a keybord like I see in this video infront of the screen. Is that a necessary hardware to have? What is the name of it please. Thank you for the video, I might signe me up for the course, would it be a good progres in to my music making way in life?

  • @Wrakage I don't know the make or model but the term is 'midi keyboard' (stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface). You'll need one to trigger the samples etc in Reason (although there are ways to do this without a midi keyboard it's not the same).Nearly all home keyboards from about 1983 onwards have midi ins and outputs and if you have one of these already you'll just need a midi interface which plugs into the back of the keyboard and into a usb port.

  • @RodCow Hey RoCow, thanks a lot for the information. It was verry helpfull! Greets.

  • @Wrakage Nice one.Happy I could help.
