NEVER EVER USE WINDEX, I have seen many computers ruined with it. I use 90% or greater rubbing alcohol. Or use a a barely damp microfiber rag with distilled water. Never use paper towels.

This is ....rough. Cleaning your macbook/laptop w/o turning the power switch off is not advisable. And the way you cleaned the keyboard....i'm sorry but i wanted to scream out in agony. You're practically shifting whatever dust that is visible on the keyboard right underneath it. Proper keyboard cleaning would be removing the keyboard tiles thingy one by one and cleaning it out. I'm no expert, still looking out for better tips out there.

don't use windex sorry because windex contains chemicals that dose make your mac look clean but actually wares out the aluminum so don't be cheap i recommend using iklean is a great product recommended by apple because you are dealing with a $1,299 and up laptop and you really don't want to damage it so and don't use a paper towel if you don't have a microfiber cloth go out to walmart and buy one or use a nice soft cloth or even a nose tissue. So don't be cheap take good care of you mac.

Dude, the laptop screen afterwards looked like complete poo - streaky, cloudy, dusty. You used the same cloth on the screen as you used on the body - what if it had a coarse piece of dust in it and you put an enormous scratch on the screen. You also used Window cleaner on the body - why? It's for glass, in time it could break the aluminium down, at least tarnish it. You just showed everyone how not to clean a MacBook Pro.
