@lsaintignan Hey brother, just a little advice for you...I would move your radar detector a few inches to the left, so that the cord is off the plastic. That is the same detector, and the same spot I had mine, until the sun melted the cord into the silver plastic that lines the dash. It really pissed me off, so don't want it happening to you.

ive been driving a manual all my life even for my driving test with dads old 89 SHO. my GTO is a auto and i love it. the only downfall is taking off on a 30mph roll when the car takes a sec to downshift. other then that its still very fast and a nice car.

Automatics are not very good on GTO's.. Not putting your car down, but I am saying in general.. They get are missing a gear which means worse gas mileage.. That is really the only reason why when I get my GTO in a few months, that I will get a manual.. Auto would be better since it will be my DD, but at 16, I need to save as much money for gas as I can.. But I don't want a POS honda or something
