Most are MDs are strictly clinicians and not academic MD PhD trained medical scientists, that may have something to with it. Or maybe it have something to do with the procession of young attractive persistent pharma sales reps who visit them weekly and wine and dine MDs. If it didnt work big pharma wouldnt hire and maintain and army of 10,000 to 50,000 sales reps.
