  • Well gee...thanks for that little bit of Depression! Here I was expecting a happy ending like normal TV.....but nope......The internet has to be a 'Rebel'!!! You have disapointed me again with your 'I don't Play by The Rules' attitude Internet!

PS JK, LOL and BYOB for some reason.

  • @parrotscience Its so sad that magic died he seemed to be a happy mountain lion.

  • @parrotscience Man are you all brave! I'd rather have drawn a blood sample from the wolf we had to bath. Someone brought it in & lied to my coworker said it was a dog over the phone, but hellno! I got there the next day & the thing was solid white, yellow eyes, very long canines & a long narrow nose snout. The dewclaws were high up on the legs and big paws. I saw that's a wolf and I mean full-blooded not even a hybrid cross! Owner said yes it is, his name's Thor. Asked for shot record.

  • @parrotscience This was at Petco as we are not supposed to do exotic or wild animals, but my home store was lax about some of the rules as our groomer had taken in a rabbit once for a bath and nail trim. The other 2 Petcos I worked at when they were shorthanded didn't take in exotics, though I had to wipe the poop off a gray kangaroo's tail when I woman was allowed to enter the store w/it. Sheez! So now I'm a vet tech student studying all animals & techniques now. LOL

  • @parrotscience One woman tried to bring a raccoon in. Don't know how she got in the door either, but we turned it away b/c of rabies. And as for the wolf, I told the owner give me proof of the rabies shots and the vet's number I called and got verification and said we'd do just the bath but no nail trim b/c they bite as it is when you bath them they snap at the water and it never bit but it sure did snap at the water. Had it tied to the wall on a bath rack and it paced around me too.

  • @parrotscience I did however bottlefeed a young tiger. Although, it was pretty big for a young tiger about the size of a large cockerspaniel. I will NEVER work on a large and dangerous species without teamwork or proper restraint be it chemical or physical. At least not on one that's not trained for basic routine procedures. I know my limits and my place. "Take no chances whilest working on, with or around wild/zoo animals." One minute docile the next...

  • What was the diagnosis...and how old was Magic?

  • The purring sounds like an engine.

  • Poor kitty!

  • What was the illness?

  • Aw, that's sad.
