The US needs kenya for it owns interest, if you understand International Politics, there was an article why US needs kenya I believe I read it in Newyork times or eastandard
I can imagine Mr Moses Wetangula calling a press conference in 2249 R. Street, NW, Washington DC and what comes from his warped mouth is; The Kenya government announces the ban on 40 Republican senators who are blocking security and health-care reforms in the US.These individuals include John McCain,Mitch McConnell, Jeff Sessions,John Cornyn, Saxby Chambliss and George Bush and Dick Cheney ( former president and vice president)
That's very funny, but USA does not depend on kenya in so many areas, so for now we have to see the actions of America as those you would expect from a responsible donor and nothing else but that. The day we will become self sufficient and philanthopic enough like the U.S. is - and some MP's of cause - we too will be able to enjoy the trappings that come with such might and power, and we will begin to tell off somalia. For now, it's do as you are told and be nice or else!
This is pure idiocy, banning him or her does nothing to him the only thing he or she misses is the bumpy plane ride otherwise there are still 200 more countries to visit. If you want to starve an enemy burn the storage, simply freeze the assets they have stashed in your banks and then atleast we would listen to your crap!!
He has been attoney General for many years and has nothing to show for it except his fat checks and his arrogance. He needs to go back home and raise chicken.
when Kenyans were butchering each other we desperatly welcomed US help now that thing are alittle OK we spite them. one thing is for sure since amb. Hempstone forced MOI to accept multiparty to now US has done more towardds Kenyan democracy than our leaders. love them or hate them: it's true
Next in line after wako should be Minister for Foreign Affairs Moses Wetangula who is treating foreign affairs department as a personal kingdom by appointing 4 of his brothers as ambassadors.
Wako is the man. This man has for many years stood on the side of wrong doers the same men he is supposed to prosecute. As a result Kenya is languishing in the hands of corrupt individuals. CHANGE IS COMING!
"The United States seems to have taken the first step at ending impunity in Kenya"? Are you serious? I beg to differ. There are many Kenyans, some even in government, who have been fearless and outspoken about the impunity in Kenya and have tirelessly pushed for legislature in this regard. So no sorry Mr. Rashid, the US is not the first in this...maybe the first...that your station is choosing to acknowledge.
Mention those idiots who are stalling reforms. Surely, it would be in-keeping with your stern warning by mentioning them so that the others will be aware. It's good US is doing something but in the long run, being secretive of actions taken against public service officials is retrogressive and unhelpful, particularly because as you say, they/he is an "individual of influence". If this is being done for the interest of Kenyans, we deserve to know who to never vote for. WATAJE WOTE!!
say the name and stop always keeping Kenyans in suspence. I am getting tired of these US travel bans, why cant they just say it is so n so instead of saying unnamed official. stop treating Kenyans like kids.
Are YOU going to tell us what he did?
This is ridiculous. OBSTRUCTED REFORM PROCESS, FAILED TO END THE CYCLE OF IMPUNITY, AND CORRUPTION.
WHAT A JOKE.
I want to know if the corruption or impunity part includes jaywalking?
If they have done something wrong you should be SPECIFIC!!!

Kenya should ban Johnny Carson from setting foot in the country also, in addition to several Republicans blocking healthcare reforms in US

I don't think Johnny Carson will set foot in the country for a while. He's been dead for four years.
