when i went underwater in the pool with mine it froze and none of the buttons worked so i put it in the heater while i had a shower and its sweet now.

@eladbari i couldnt really hear the buzz. this was a pre-production model so if there was a buzz it would be fixed now. my playsport doesnt have a buzz. but kodak will help if you need it.

Did you notice any bubbles coming from behind the white plastic facia. Mine did on its first and only test so far. Kodak say it's normal but not sure.

i dont know why its like that. it worked fine before i uploaded it to youtube. so i dont think its the camera.

Could you find out if the playsports currently available from Amazon (U.S.) have fixed the noise when recording issue? I can't wait to buy one but am skeptical about this earlier than scheduled release of playsports from Amazon. Could they be defective (noisy) ones they are trying to unload?

i would imagine that they are ok. but i have no real way of finding out. if i was you i would wait for the people who have brought them to do their own videos. then you can check it out for yourself.

the H2O setting is for the underwater video capture its meant to make the colours better. i said H2O off because i had turned it off.

How is the overall durability of this camera? Do you think you could drop it and it would be ok? (No im not asking you to drop your camera lol)

i have seen reviews where they say you could drop it. it has a rubber skin around it and these funny ribs on the sides. dont really want to try. still goto send it back to kodak you see.

i have spoken to my contact again today and he said the same as the first time. its probably a bug before the firmware is finalized. i did see a new test on youtube and there was no buzz. to be honest i dont always hear it. i have loads of test footage and only a very small percentage have the buzz.

Trust me it's there Chrisc74 reported the problem to Kodak. I do not hear the buzz on other videos. The Kidak Zi8 has the same problem. They some what fixed it with a firmware update.
