In conclusion, I think that both parties had acted a bit immaturely simply for the fact that they are pop superstars and idols to tens of thousands of people across the globe. But I don't think that their actions were inappropriate if they were just "normal" and "average" college kids. This stuff happens everyday, guy breaks up with girl in an insensitive manner, girl bitches to her girlfriends about it. It's just on a much larger scale, because of their mega-superstardom, that's all.

BUT Taylor's rage was completely justified as well. A guy breaking up with you is never fun, especially when you believed that you two were heads-over-heels in love, and ESPECIALLY when it's done in such an impersonal manner. However much I think that Taylor has every right to write angry songs at Joe, there's absolutely no need to bash him on national TV, in magazines and in her videos. A small message, spread through songs, to her fans would be enough to get her side of the story.
