your whole kit needs new heads and you need new symbols to get the best sound. it all really just depends on how long you've been drumming. if its anymore than a year then you need a double bass pedal to speed up the learning process and dont look at youtube videos to try and better your drumming. made up the beats on your own. look for any opportunity to put things in where you think they might fit. just use your head and it'll fit.
