im learning this solo now, and the bit im having trouble with i the section from 1:06 to 1:11. i just cant get it right with the tabs ive got, and i cant find a tab for the way it seems to be played here. it sounds like what should be the easiest part of the solo too.

best thing to do is keep listening to the part over and over and break it up into bits, tabs tend to be misleading as they are another persons representation of the music but it not always right,

very simple. hammett only plays certain notes when he scales down the neck like that, on the high e, as he does in every solo. he uses 24, 22, 21, 19, 17, 15, 14, 12, 10, 8. figure the order out.

Well the weird thing about the Ride the LIghtning album that for whatever reason the album was recorded just a little sharp. If you get a tuner and get perfectly in tune, you'll sound flat when you play along with the album.
