I watched a movie called "Traces of Death" back in 94. Asphyx was part of the soundtrack, I found them them in the credits and it took me 6 months to find a cassette. Been my favorite band ever since.
Great stuff although I prefer Martin van Drunen doing the vocals for Asphyx, his voice for me IS Asphyx. (I know this is early Asyphx btw before someone says this is before van Drunen).
Yes you are right Pages of Blood was on The Rack which came out in '91....but this is a demo version which was recorded in '89-'90 but wasn't officially released on disc until '96

I Couldn't agree more. THIS is Death Metal. Hopefully some of the kids won't follow the trends and instead they'll search for the real stuff.
