The audio is really quiet in this video. It's fine during the segments that show gameplay usage, but in the scenes where you're in the chair, it's very quiet and a little hard to hear. Good review though :)

In Resident Evil 4 you can also reload by holding the B button and pressing any D- pad instead of shaking the Wii remote :)

well I got resident evil 4, metroid, and Destroy all humans... I'm kinda wondering how it'd work with metroid with all of the things where you have to grab onto things, put them in something, then twist them, but other then that I'm excited to try out the blaster, it's a good thing it works well with resident evil 4 :D

about switching your arms...this is only with hotd2+3 but you can hold the b button down and use the nunchuk trigger to fire...as it would be witha reral gun. its in the manual for the gam,e...its pretty convenient how the zapper games arent all setup like that.pCe

Most gun shells don't work well with Resident Evil 4 because you use both A and B to shoot, but the Core Gamer Blaster doesn't restrict face button so it's a good fit.

As for Metroid Prime 3 you use both face buttons and Nunchuck motion commands, so no gun sheel is really ideal. Also the game was heavily designed around the Remote/Nunchuck two hand set-up, so it's actually more immersive to simply use the remote and nunchuck on thier own.

I was going to get the nyko pistol but like all of them are out of stock for like a month and I didnt wana go to ebay cause of shipping purposes and rather pay 15 instead of 40 dollars and dont wana pay that much money so I considerd the blaster but didnt know what it was capable of so I went through like 5 youtube vids then found this and now instead of waiting a month for a pistol although it is very pimp I am getting the blaster tommorow. My mom bought this instead of the Wii Zapper for me, and I started to play it, then I realized, it sucked. Bad. The reason I don't like it, is that it doesn't feel like a gun, due to the fact you press the B button. Core Game apparently thought games use the Z button to shoot.

Not entirely sure what you mean. You can use all the buttons just fine and after you adjust for the difference in hand placement from how you'd use a real rifle it's fairly simple.

Only major control issue would be Nunchuck motion commands usually don't work, but you can pop the nunchuck out to compensate.

Probably, I remember most of it's motion prompts are also bound to the control pad. There are special events where you have to use motion commands, you might need to pop the nunchuck out. All though some of those invovle you holding a rifle, so it might actually help with a few of them.

nice review. Im getting a Wii soon and ive been loooking for good reviews like this. When i played Call of Duty 3 at my friends house, my Aim was incredible unstable. This looks like its good for me. Im curious how well it works with Metroid Prime 3 and Medal of Honor Heroes 2

I doubt it'd work well for Prime 3 since there are a lot of motion commands invovled with certain events, and since Samus' gun is attached to her hand, it's more immersive to just use the remote.

It'd probably be fine for CoD3. The standard motions are also on the Control Pad and the specfic events are usually isolated enough to get the nunchuck out. Can't comment on MOH: H2, but it was allegedly designed with the Zapper in mind, so in theory this should work as well.

its awesome for re:uc. it provides good access to the z and c buttons, which are used alot. it takes 1:30-2:00 minutes to put in, which is a little long for my taste, but its great for shooters.
