  • fire on the mountin run

  • what kind of knife is that?

  • @OhPoke The knife is my favorite filet knife.....bought it at a garage sale for $ 2.00, it is a Chicago Cutlery, 6" folding filet knife.

  • easy there Toby Keith :)

  • Put a hook on that thing and throw it back and catch a real fish ;)

  • @welderhondadrew Yeah... would make great bait for a flathead catfish. The catfish probably wouldn't taste as good, but you could feed the whole family with it!

  • bear grill would eat if whole

  • that fish makes up one fish stick

  • HE TOUCHED THE CAMERA WITH HIS FISHY HANDS!!!!!!...just saying :D

  • That's the way my Dad does it, except he stops the cut at the tail flips the fillet over cuts the fillet off the skin and leaves the skin attached to the fish., I've seen him do 75 fish in an hour. He's good on fish but when we cut up a deer he hands the knife to me.....

  • dude, i bet you can go through your limit in less than 10 minutes, with breaks!

  • @jtschid0910 Pennsylvania's daily limit for panfish is 50. In this state I bet he'd need to clone himself a time or two in order to get his limit cleaned in 10 minutes!

  • waste of meat there must be another way.

  • wait what... their are still pin bones in it but they fry up. but i take them out.

  • nice video man. That knife was sharp as hell

  • hell with a bluegill that small, in Alabama black folks just fry 'em whole guts, heads, bones, scales & all and deep fry 'em crispy (no lie! thought dem were crazy) but i seem 'em eat it like tater chips, sho' did. they ax me i wunted sum tole 'em " Hell nawww"

  • i caught a 12 inch bluegill 4 weeks ago in st. johns river. it was very big

  • this is the only way i know to fillet a fish....i thought this was pretty standard but i guess not

  • That was nice dude

  • dude you are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very clean!

  • ATTENTION: Due to numerous requests, I have done another demo video.."Fileting a Northern Pike Mark's way"....This is my wifes account so all further videos will be posted under MY account. mnslabcatcher thanks Mark

  • damn dude that knife was sharp ass fuck.nice

  • thats how we fellit white perch

  • That's good but i would like to see it done on a pike, they are VERY bony fish

  • thats how my grandpa taught me!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If I ever catch a fish I'll try it. Thanks.

  • can u fillet any fish in any lake? is it safe to eat any type of fish(besides poisoness ones)

  • @serenaismypooch sorta.you shouldnt eat any fish that is in a environment that looks too good.for instance a pond that is right on a golf course.because of fertlilizers and pesticides that make their way into the water tainting the meat of panfish and bass etc.other than that have at it.you can really fillet any type of fish its just a matter of how good it will taste.i love the taste of bluegill,red-ear,pumpkin seeds, and largemouth.also dont keep largemouths when they get too big.i prefer 5 lbs

  • Fillet a salmon for us. And a pike. Thanks... I mean, if you don't mind.

  • Nice work

  • u r a saint

  • sorry about the duplicate posts as i didn't think it went through

  • Great quick demo. Excellent efficient method. Same way I do it except I'm much slower.

  • dude, you got to be the worlds best fillet man to fillet sunnies that small. Do you invite your buddis over for Chips and Chips lol

  • Good grief. That was good. To hell with my old technique. I'm going to try this tomorrow when I bring a stringer full of bream home.

  • im scared,, O_O.. if you can do THAT to a fish so its ready "for beer batter" in under a minute.. ... ... what would you do to a person?? O_o

lol.. jokes.. but still slightly scary, dude.. lol

  • Nice work, good video.

  • I cringed every time that knife got close to your hands. I know a guy who was using a electric fillet knife and nearly lost a finger or two! Be careful.

    Nice Video!

  • man that was really fast especially for a little bream like that i think ille try it when the spawn comes and see if i can give you a run 4 your money great vid

  • god damn thats fast

  • damn dude! where you from? MN? anyways is there any need to do that v cut in the middle?

  • this guy is a natural!!!! haha u must be doing this for a while

  • What...you have changed the anatomy of a fish! Wow...what the %#@*? Can that be done with any fish? WTF again? It's a favorite now...where did you learn that...YOUTUBE? WTF? If I was a fish I'd be scared...your a ninja fillet master...WTF? I'm impressed....you set the bar Fillet Faster. I watched other vids and crap, the cut here and there and pull this and yank that...grrr...Thanks...do another with a big fish!

  • Thanks for the comment. check out "Worlds fastest boneless panfish filet, demonstrated." same thing, a little slower. I will do a demo on a larger fish later. Good Luck!

  • Thats a sharp ass knife.

  • I like how u do it with out an electric knife... nicely done around the rib cage that is the same way how my grandpa and my father taught me... nice job

  • Wow, great filleting skills lol. But there's barley any meat on those! I've never had a panfish before though, so it must make up in taste.

Keep up the vids. Maybe make a few that are a bit slower with some explanations! :)

  • Damn your good!

  • That was epic. Great job!

  • Another great filleting video. Many guys who filet fish just wate the meat around the ribcage, but it's great that you don't.

  • looks like you do this alot. great vid. my biggest blue gill was 11 INCHES!!! it was a monster. threw her back on her bed

  • Now you are just too damn fast, next time I go bream fishin I need you to come along for afterwards.

  • why eat a fish that the meat is enough to get stuck in your teeth.

  • Now Thats How U Filet A Fish Damnit....So many ppl on youtube are hackers when it comes to fileting a fish...good job bro

  • You still got to cut out a small v shape portion where the rib cage was. There are tiny little bones that connect the ribcage membrane to the meat. On the little fish you could probably get by without cuttin em out, but on the bigger fish they tend to be pretty hard.

  • your right about that but small sunfish the bones you are talking about melt away when they are cooked and are never a problem.

  • well done ... thats how I've always done it. I dont know why people like their fillets with bones. Keep fishin keep eatin.

  • when you fillet it like that and make sure to cut along the ribcage.....thats how its done. it wont dull your knife.

  • is that your ice house...if it is nice...nice job filleting

  • dude that is awesome i never knew you could do them that way everyone iv ever watched just gutted and fried em.

  • i still have trouble skinning my fillets. maybe my fillet knife isn't well? lol.. anyway, nice job!! 5/5 stars!

  • sweet! greeeeat job!
