I saw the Tusk tour at the LA Forum, floor seats. I don't know if this is footage from that night or not. The USC marching band was there to perform Tusk. It was one of the best nights of my life. My friend and I were Stevie groupies. Even had the original Buckinham Nicks Album. My friend's daughter Rhiannon just turned 26. My how time flies....
I would probably be a dork if it wasn't for Bro B and his crazy music and weed.Rumors he played with a bong hit at the exact moment needed.God bless his soul Vietnam got him 33 died of agent orange but I don't believe the Government ever admitted it.I still went in the Army Rangers Airborne with green Berets is what we were and still are never an X unless your dead
Man those where the days you could go to a concert without the excise police latching on to ya for burning a joint or ten,or dropping some acid and snorting a few lines.
Fantastic live version. But I must point out that there are any number of drummers who are as good as or better than Fleetwood who don't feel the need to go through all those facial machinations.
Checkout Fleetwood Mac when they had its founder and one of the worlds best guitarists Peter Green still playing with them and they were like a lot of bands at the time [the stones, animals ect] a blues band google"Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac".As for the Rumours album i remember were i was when i first heard it [at a party and i kept playing it over and over] hard to believe its over 30 years old, where the fuck did it go. Green ended up homless,in prison and mental hospital, still records today
One Gorgeous Welch witch with an unmistakable voice, no doubt. With Mick on drums and John on Bass..my hound dog would sound great. When they were "On" . . no one else came close.
Doesnt get any better than this. Fleetwood Mac at their zenith. The power, the passion and the amazing tour de force that was these 5 talents. I love this song..it evokes so many powerful emotions inside. Amazing band, they are one of rock n roll's greatest ever.
@Sookiefairygirl i was around at that time and ive been to many a gig but all that screaming is unneccessary, how can you hear the music? it reminds me of when the beatles stopped playing live because they couldnt hear themselves over all that pathetic screaming
When I bought my first video cassette recorder in 1979 you could choose one free videotape with purchase. I chose this live concert, and we watched it constantly. I am not sure if any of you remember what vcr's cost when they first came out, but I paid around a thousand dollars for it way back then. A fortune, but I saved because I had to have one.
Fleetwood Mac clearly reborned in the mid 70's with the meeting of Lindsey Buckingham and Steevie Nicks in U.S. They gave us "Rumors", one of the greatest album of the Pop Rock's history !!! Chain is an outstanding tune, powerful bass riff, warm voices and huge guitar solo....
wwwgreatbuyoutletscom wwwtopfuelsavercom Sir Hercules presided, and with his usual grace supported a conversation on the pleasures of foreign travel, the beauties of art and nature to be met with abroad, the opera at Venice, the singing of the orphans in the churches of the same city, and on other topics of a similar nature. ....this'll always be the classic FM lineup. There's never been an onstage chemistry like there was between Stevie Nicks & Lindsey Buckingham. Never will be. And Lindsey Buckingham is the only guitarist whom I can truly say makes dirty love to his guitar, and gets away with is. His bond with the guitar is unprecedented,
