honest question: why is sissy spacek being glorified on stage when anyone can get up and do exactly what they're doing? What special qualities do they have?
Because not just anybody can? It takes some release of your id and a warped sense of sound, timing, etc. to create this lovely bit of chaos.
This set was absurd. Loud, ugly, bizarre, often sparse, and laughably short. I enjoyed it immensely without irony, and it's loads more enjoyable than seeing some bored hipsters with guitars slog out some fifteenth-generation R.E.M. knock-offs for 30 minutes.
